The Ramirez girl wished at that moment that the earth would open and swalle her whole. She wasn't prepared for this yet. She needed more time before she exactly told the boy. But unfortunately she did't have time because the moment she walked out his happy gaze moved from her eyes to her pregnancy bump, his happy face faltering immediately.
He was confused as he just stared at her bump. He hadn't said anything because it seemed as though he was confused. The two vampires were still behind Milana and they looked like they were ready to pounce the man.
The girl lookrd at the two vampires. “Can you leave us for a moment?” she asked them. They looked at Alec one more time before they left the two alone. She knew they were going to listen in on their conversation, since they were a nosy bunch.
Milana turnrd to Alec who was now looking at her with hard eyes and clenched fists. Alec had only ever been mad at her when it was actually reasonable but he was mad without actually knowing what was really going on.
“Alec, before you blow up or yell at me. Let me explain, you will understand everything once I explain it to,” Milana told the boy and Alec breathed out, nodding. “This is what Tracy meant. She didn't want me to judge without letting you explain. . .But there is nothing to explain. You're pregnant!”
Milana winced glances behind them. She pulled him into and shut the door behind her. She grabbed his hand which he let her take before she led him toward the second floor. They would have more privacy there and she didn't want things to get too mrssy when she does explain everything to him.
The walk up to tbe study gave the boy enough time to process everything that he had just seen. He had been so excited when he got off the plane yesterday. Alec didn't know what he was feeling, it was something between hurt, anger and confusion.
Milana sighed when the two made it into the study. She turned to the boy whose back was to her. “Alec, listen to me, okay? A lot of stuff had happened these past few months.” Alec stayed quiet this whole time listening to her speak.
“Okay. Please do explain. I'm having a hard time figuring this out.”
Milana bit her lip, glancing around. She didn't know if she should just tell him tbe truth. Telling the truth meant putting him in danger. If he knew about vampires, witchrs and wolves, there wasn't a doubt that he'd become a target and get killed. She could make up a lie and tell him it was artificial insemination for Hayley who had passed not long ago. It was a plausible lie.
