Milana had woken up just an hour after sunrise. She had felt amazing, better than she had in a while. The woman glanced over at the man beside her who was surprising still sleeping beside her. He was usually up before anyone in this house. She sighed happily as her hand moved to his cheek just for her gaze to fall on the ring on her finger, which almost made her giggle. It all felt so surreal to her, almost like last night did not actually happen. The girl knew her happiness wouldn’t last long, but she will at least enjoy it while she can
Klaus pulled her naked body towards his, surprising the woman. The man smiled, his eyes still closed. “We need to get up. I have to check on Hope,” Milana said, as Klaus snuggled into her side. When Klaus made no move, Milana pushed the man away from her and sat up. Klaus opened his eyes and he smiled at her. “All right. Go check on our daughter. I will run you a bath.”
He kissed her forehead, before he stood up, walking to the bathroom. Milana couldn't help but stare at the man’s behind. For a white guy he really did have a nice ass.
The Ramirez girl shook her head before she put on her nightie and robe. She tied her hair up before she made her way to Hope's room.
She opened the door, and she jumped when surprised to see Cami sitting in the chair in front of Hope's crib. The woman’s blonde hair, sticking out from above the chair. “You're up early, Cami. How did you sleep?”
Hope looked at her mother before she looked at Cami who was seated in front of her. Hope didn't make a move, just stared at the woman.
“Cami?” Milana called out.
Milana walked closer with a frown. She walked around the chair and her eyes widened when she saw Cami's slit throat and knife in her hands. “Klaus!” Milana yelled out before she picked Hope out of her crib away from Cami.
How long had Hope been watching Cami bleed out?
Klaus ran in to the room, and he frowned when he saw Milana's horrified look. The woman looked at Klaus, her eyes wide, and it was starting to fill with tears. He walked over to them and his gaze fell on Cami's body. He stared at her with wide eyes.
The woman was dead.
“Check on her. Maybe she's still alive, Klaus.”
Klaus looked at Milana and he shook his head but Milana refused to believe she was. “No, no. Klaus, she has to be alive. She's not dead. Check on her!” she shouted, which made Hope start to cry. Milana tried to calm herself as she rocked Hope in her arms.
