In the courtyard of the Mikaelson compound, Vincent and Freya were stood next to Aurora's body that was wrapped in a sheet. “Good news, Freya, I think I found a spell that'll draw together all the serum that Aurora took,” Vincent told the Mikaelson witch with a slightly hopeful tone.

“Now, it's going to take a little while, but if I can concentrate it in her heart, we can extract it, destroy it, and make sure we ain't got no more of these unkillable monsters on her hands,” Vincent explained.

Freya nodded her head, looking from Aurora's body to Vincent. “Good! In the meantime, I think I may have finally found a way to kill Lucien,” the Mikaelson witch told him with her own hopeful smile.

“Now, my mother once tried to end my siblings by reversing the original vampire spell, and according to her grimoire, only with the witch who cast the spell to undo it,” Freya explained to Vincent.

“You created that serum; therefore, according to my mother, you can turn Lucien back and then Klaus can rip his head off,” Freya finished, causing Vincent's expression to turn anxious as he shook his head.

“Freya, it wasn't my power that cast the spell. The Ancestors used me as a conduit for some ugly magic that only the spirits have access to. I'm sorry, but nobody alive can tap into that.” Vincent gave Freya an apologetic look, causing Freya to sigh.

Just then, Vincent's phone rang, cutting through their conversation as he pulled it out of his pocket to check who it was. “Marcel has been blowing up my phone,” Vincent commented with a confused frown before excusing himself.

“All right, I'll be back," Vincent assured before leaving the compound, just as Elijah entered.

“Something the matter?” Elijah inquired as he looks from Vincent's retreating figure over to Freya, who looked puzzled by Vincent's revelation.

“I need a strand of your hair,” the blonde answered, causing Elijah to frown before plucking a hair from his head, handing it over to her. “I'm working on an early warning system. Lucien has all the witch Ancestors in New Orleans on his side. I need to know if they tried to magically interfere with any of you,” Freya told him, causing Elijah to frown in worry.

“Freya, when we said no rest for the wicked, I certainly didn't expect you to. . .” the original traildd as he gestured towards all her work that was laid out on the table, indicating that she had perhaps gone a bit overboard.
