Freya, Milana and Elijah made it back to the compound with Hope and the still-daggered Klaus and neutralized Dahlia. Milana had put Hope down to take a nap since it was already past her bedtime. Even if they were fighting enemies she will not let them disrupt her daughter's night routine. It took her a while to get her familiar with the routine and this place. Milana had joined the others a few moments later after Hope had fallen asleep where Marcel and Rebekah with Freya was now standing over the two's bodies.
Marcel slowly kneeled to examine Klaus' body.
“Nik is demented! Are we really to dig up our mother, burn her to ash, swap said ash with Kol's, and then trick Davina into using up her last chance to bring someone back from the dead? Not to mention we lose the opportunity to save Kol... if Davina doesn't turn us inside out!” Rebekah asked after Elijah and Freya explained everything to her and Marcel.
“Or, we dig a deep hole and leave both our problems at the bottom of it,” Elijah informed his sister. “I say we choose a more permanent option-- find the white oak stake, kill Klaus, Dahlia dies with him.”
The Ramirez's girl head snapped to the blonde girl. “You want to do what?” Milana asked the girl, offended that the girl would even suggest that. That's what they were try to avoid.
“Well, yeah, and so do I, and every other vampire that Klaus has turned!” Marcel reminded the girl. Milana knew the blonde didn't actually mean it but it was still a ridiculous notion to suggest especially now.
Rebekah heard a strange sound and frowned before turning back toward the bodies. When she lookdd back at Klaus, she noticed that the golden dagger in his chest was beginning to melt. “The dagger!”
The rest of them turndx toward Klaus and saw the end of the dagger begin to slowly but surely melt, so that the handle became shorter and shorter, presumably from Dahlia's magic. “It's bloody melting!”
“We have no choice but to finish the task that Niklaus has set,” Elijah told his sister. The lot all looked grim as they considered their only option and watched as the dagger continued to melt.
They only had one thing to do now. Swap Kol's ashes for Esther's. Milana didn't know how she felt about that since this would meant deceiving Davina. The girl had been wanting to bring Kol Mikaelson back for months now. The girl would never trust any of them after this, especially not Milana who she had actually trusted. While the two unfortunately haven't been able to talk over some drinks, it did not mean Milana didn't still care for the girl.
