Sadie POV

          A loud beeping sound wakes me up, and it won't stop. Slowly, I open my eyes and I realize I'm in my room, and it's my alarm clock that's beeping. I pound on the snooze button and check what time it is. "Wait, it's 5:30!?!?" I shoot up out of bed, "I have to open up in 30 minutes!" As quick as I can, I go to the bathroom and brush my hair and making sure I have everything. "I'll just have breakfast at the Big Donut." I say to myself as I quickly sprint out the front door and run to work. It's bad enough I've never been late to work, but it's even worse when no one is there to open! Lars usually comes in a few minutes late, which is OK I guess. But it's still no excuse that I'M late! As I start to see the Big Donut getting closer to me, I start to see Lars, taking out the trash.

          Lars, was early?

          When I finally make it to the store, I go to Lars, "You're...early?" He nods and I see light circles under his eyes.
          "Yeah, I couldn't sleep that much last night, plus I have to do my bet." He winks at me and I start to smile, remembering. We do some small talk until I hear Stevens cheerful voice,
          "Goooodmorning everyone!" I smile,
          "Mornin' Steven." I go into the Big Donut and see the place almost spotless. Heading to the counter, I grab my emergency donut, (for when I forget to eat breakfeast at home) and I ask Steven, "What donut would you like?" He thinks for a bit, and I start to eat my donut. Staring out the window, seeing Lars working. It's hard to imagine him dating me, with me being, well, me, and Lars being his ordinary wild self, there's like no way he'd want to go out with me. As I zone out, looking at Lars, Steven notices.
          "So what's with you and Lars?" I let out a sigh, finishing my donut,
          "Nothing." Suddenly, a girl appears and starts to talk to him, and I lean back a bit. Before I can even ask, Steven says,
          "That's Jenny. Me, Lars, Jenny and a group of the coolest kids in Beach City and me hung out awhile back." As I listen to Steven, I look at Lars and Jenny talk. I notice her getting closer and closer to Lars. He sees it too, and trys to back up. Instantly I remember who Jenny was,
          "Oh yeah, Jenny." Lars suddenly says something I don't recognize, and Jenny rolls her eyes and walks off. Looking back at Lars, I see visible sweat starting to roll down his forehead. Steven suddenly interrupts my thoughts,
          "Anyway, can I get a sprinkled donut, chocolate please!" I look at Steven and he smiles widely, so I smile back, trying to keep my cool.
          "S-Sure." I get his donut and I hand it to him, and he gives me the money,
          "Bye Sadie!" The 'ding' from the door goes off and Lars walks in, looking at his phone. "Bye Lars!" Lars gives a head nod as Steven walks out the doors and down the boardwalk, leaving the store quiet. I sigh, about to speak, when Lars stops me,
          "Hey Sadie?" I look at him,
          "Yeah?" He walks over to me and walks around the counter this time, and shows me his phone, and he's looking through some music.
          "I found this really good song!" I nod, trying to care, but it's slowly fading away. But he says something that catches my attention, "And it's really cool!"
          "Really?" I ask, not really caring that much, since I'm still a bit upset about the Jenny thing.
          "Yeah! Here, I'll play it."

Lars POV

          As I start up the song, I start to feel a bit nervous. I felt like Sadie saw Jenny talking to me, and I don't want her to think I like her, cause I don't. AT ALL. But she tries to get closer to me, and I can barely breath. But when I'm with Sadie, it all changes. Suddenly, the music starts,

          Whoa, oh oh oh oh whoa oh oh oh oh oh oh

          Whoa oh oh oh oh whoa oh oh oh oh oh oh'

          Sadie starts to nod, "It's got a good beat." I nod in return and turn the volume up a bit,
          "It's also fun to dance to." I start to shake my arms in the air and shake my hips, making her laugh. I try to keep my mind on the song,

          'Play the lotto you might win it

          It's like 25 for life so you bust out of prison

          I open my eyes slightly and see Sadie dancing along with me, and I feel less embarrassed.

          'It's like that feeling when you're just about to kill it,

          Take your last shot you know you're gonna hit it.

          I suddenly feel myself dance a bit closer to Sadie and I feel my heart skip a beat and I sing loudly to the song,

          'Something big I feel it happening

          Out of my control

          Push and pull and then it's grabbing me,

          Feel it in my bones'

          Suddenly, the music stops and I open my eyes and stop dancing, and so does Sadie. We're both right next to each other. "Oh- I forgot, I-I didn't download it yet" I rub my forehead, feeling slightly embarrassed. Sadie softly grabs my hand, now making me anxious.
          "It's ok Lars. By the way, nice dance moves." I chuckle and my blush fades, and I squeeze her hand gently,
          "I know, I got mad skills" I try to lean on a table, but I fall to the floor with a thud, and Sadie does too, right on top of me. As I open my eyes to look at her, some of her hair fell into her eyes, making her look innocent and cute. I slowly move them out of the way, making her blush. I only smile at her,

          Come ON Lars!

          Kiss her!

          Slowly, I start to lean into her, and she lets me. Right when our lips were inches apart, Sadie looks up. "Wow, the day past by quickly." I help us up and I look at the clock, and it's time to close.
          "Wow, I guess so." I look at Sadie and she's starting to grab her coat.
          "Hey um, Sadie?" She turns and looks at me,
          "Yeah Lars?" I start to feel my nerves go spastic.

          Why do I always get like this just around her!?

          "I was wondering if you'd like to, um...I-I dunno, stay over at my house for the night?" She doesn't speak, and I start to feel like an idiot for asking.

          I'm so stupid! Why did I ask so ea-

          "Sure." I stop thinking and look at her,
          "Huh?" Sadie smiles, but she seems visibly unsettled,
          "I can spend the night!" Before I could respond, she starts to speak quick to me, "OK- I''l be by your house in an hour or so with my stuff! OK, OK! BYE!" With just a blink of an eye, she's already running home. As I start to smack my head in stupidity, I faintly here Sadie yelling, "WOOOHOO!" Smiling, I grab my coat and I turn off the lights, and lock the doors.
          "Better get home." I say to myself, "I got to clean up my room again."
