Sadie POV

        After spending a few hours at the beach with Lars, there was no contest, that this was the best day of my life. With Lars not judging my body, and him standing up to me in front of his 'friends' almost nothing can make this day better.

        Lars starts to fold his towel,

        "We better get going, you need to get home." Nodding, I grab my towel and wrap it around me, trying to get me dry. Lars suddenly gets on his knees,

        "Your ride awaits." I think for a minute, and smirk. I take off my towel and hold it and I get up on Lars back.

        "GO!" I yell and he makes horse noises, and I laugh. As Lars starts to run, I oddly feel like I'm flying. I wrap my arms around him for dear life as he somehow goes faster. As he stops, I see we're at his house.

        Wow

        That was quick.

        I hop off his back and I go inside, and Lars follows behind me. When we go into his room, I start to get my stuff together,

        "Thanks again Lars." I say as I keep packing, while still talking,

        "I thought you'd leave me to be with your friends...and Jenny." I suddenly feel hands around my waist and I blush.

        "No way would I leave you alone Sad, I wouldn't be able to deal with myself if I did." He softly kisses my cheek, and I blush deeper.

        "R-Really?" I try to not just drop everything I'm doing to just latch onto him and kiss him.

        Don't do it yet Sadie.

        Wait for the perfect moment.

        "Of course!" He pulls his arms back and I zip up my bag.

        "I wouldn't be able to go out if I hurt you." I suddenly see a memory. It was way long ago, about the time when we came back from the island. I didn't see Lars for almost a week, and even when I did, he wouldn't look at me.

        That's why he pushed me away.

        He didn't feel worthy!

        I quickly get my stuff together, and Lars slips on a shirt and pants.

        "Ready to go?" Nodding, I run outside. As I wait outside for Lars, which seems like forever, I think to myself.

        I have to show him myself

        I'm doing this today

        No exceptions!

        Lars finally walks out,

        "You ran out fast!" I only shrug, making him smirk.

        "Wanna race?" Now it was my turn to smirk,

        "What do you think?"

Lars POV

        I hope we got to her house fast. I can't wait any longer.

        I don't want to be friends anymore!

        I want something more!!

        Before I could even say the words, Sadie is already running. Smiling, I run to her, which didn't take long,

        "You and your short legs." She laughs, and she boosts her speed, and my mouth opens in surprise. Quickly I keep running,

        Gotta get to her

        Gotta get her home

        Gotta...get her to be mine.

        As I see her just up ahead of me, we're half way to her house. Suddenly, I see Sadie fall and I gasp,

        "Sadie!" I run with the last of my speed just to get to her. When I get to her side, I realize we were right in front of her house. Holding her hand, I help her up,

        "Ow, that hurt." She winces as I see a small patch of blood on her right knee.

        "I'm so sorry for making you fall." I squeeze her hand softly,

        "No it's OK Lars." Slowly, she grabs my other hand, and hangs her head a bit shyly.

        "I-It was my fault, I went ahead." I smile softly,

        "Look at me." She does, and her eyes sparkle slightly.

        "It's no ones fault." She smiles, and we just stand there looking into each others eyes. As I feel like this was the moment I've waited for, Sadie stops me for I could do anything,

        "Wait, come on." She holds on of my hands and hops me over to the house of her house. I look down at her as she goes to the first steps, and she's up to my chest,

        "What are you-"

        "Sh." She shushes me and I roll my eyes playfully. Sadie gets up on the second step, and she's up to my neck now.

        "Sad, really, what are you-"

        "Lars, shush!" I laugh softly, and stop talking.

        What is she doing?

        Then she gets up on the third and final step, and she is up to my face. Her cheeks start to turn light pink and she just looks at me, and I slowly grab her hands.

        "You don't know...how long I've waited." She says. Before I could even ask, she presses her lips up to mine in a kiss. I'm about to back up in surprise, but I don' want her to fall, so I stay still, and I kiss back. We kept kissing as I let her hands go and wrap my arms around her waist, pulling her closer. Sadie wraps her arms around my neck, kissing me a bit deeper. What only felt like a few seconds, Sadie pulled away,

        "I finally got what I've been wanting." She smirks and kisses my check, and I let her go.

        "Well Lars-" Sadie backs up slowly, a bright blush on her face,

        "S-See ya at work tomorrow." Her back bumps into the door frame and she jumps slightly in surprise. Giggling nervously, she goes inside and holds the door.

        "Bye Lars." And with that, she closes the door. I really wanted to say bye back, but I just stood there in surprise, and she walked into her house, with a smile that made me feel like I was about to explode. When Sadie closed the door, I couldn't hold it in any longer. I yelled at the skies and ran off,

        "WE KISSED!!" I kept yelling that over and over until I was at my house.

        We finally kissed.
