Sadie POV

___________

I smile softly and stand up,

        "Hey Steven." He smiles,

"You too are going to the dance rave tomorrow night?" Steven holds up the flier and I blush softly, but I'm able to hide it.

"Of course we are Steven." Lars says, with a slight smirk, and looks at me, darkening my blush. Suddenly, the 'ding' chimes, and I see Connie walk in, hear eyes facing forward, but her mind somewhere else.

"Connie!" Yells Steven happily and turns to her,

"Can't want to go to the dance?" She nods and Steven orders his donut, and leaves, leaving Connie. She slowly walks up to the counter, and shyly speaks to me,

"Sadie? Can I talk to you." I look at her a bit confused, and I glance at Lars, and he says while getting up,

"I'm gonna take my break." And he heads to the break room. Once he closes the door, Connie walks to one of the tables and sits down, and I follow her.

"I'm ecstatic that Steven and I are going to the dance, but-" I listen to her every word, and she seems to relax a bit.

"I-I don't want to just be friends with him, I have a crush on him, what should I do? I'm scared to tell him the truth, and that our friend ship will die." Thinking about her problem, it instantly reminds me of Lars, making me blush slightly.

"Well, first, start off slow.-" Connie nods.

"A-And, well. Wait until he shows you a sign, like holding your hand, or pulling you close to him." She starts to blush softly.

"Plus, he's just a 12 year old boy. He might be well, Steven at times, but I don't think you should start this so quickly." She nods, and lets out a soft sigh,

"Thanks Sadie." She slowly gets up and turns to me,

"You and Lars going?" I shrug,

"Still thinking." Connie starts to walk out and glances back at us,

"He really wants you by his side." And before I could ask, she has already ran off. Getting up and pushing the chairs in, I hear the door creak open. Lars slowly speaks up,

        "So about ear-"

"Of course." I say to him, and he goes quiet. Turning around, I see a bit or surprise on his face,

        "W-What?" I smirk,

"I said, or course I'll go with you." Lars suddenly shows a big, wide smile.

"GREAT!" He says to me, full of joy. Chuckling softly, he starts to blush, then goes back and sits in his seat, and I grab a chair.

"Lars?" I say, setting my chair down behind the counter and sitting in it. He looks at me, his eye brow arched,

        "Yeah?"

        "I love you." He smirks,

        "Love you too P2."

Lars POV

___________

As I try to think, Sadie grabs her phone out of her pocket. Leaning a bit, I see her home screen photo, and it's a picture of me, sleeping.

"Delete that." I say, and she looks at me, and hides her phone.

        "Huh?" I frown,

"Delete that dumb photo of me Sadie." She glares at me,

"Why?" I let out a long sigh,

"Why not?" I say, making her roll her eyes.

"I don't like me, or anything about me." I confess to her, staring at the ceiling. Sadie suddenly leans up to me and I don't blush.

"Lars, it doesn't matter. I only see my phone. It's not like I'd post it." My heart thuds, and I quickly turn my head to her,

"Don't you dare." The tone of my voice as serious as ever. Sadie blinks in surprise.

"I said I wouldn't, gosh." As we stop talking, I shut my eyes, trying to take a nap to pass the time.

((L))((S))

I start to feel someone shaking me awake, and I rub my eyes.

"S-Stop...five more minutes." The shaking stops, until I hear Sadies soft voice in my ear say,

"Tiger Millionaire is here." My eyes shoot open and I gasp, but see no one. Turning to Sadie, who is trying to hide her laugh, I growl,

"What the heck! Don't joke about Tiger M!" She starts to giggle, and I blush. Suddenly, I see she has her coat on, and she is turning off the lights. Getting up, I grab my coat and slip it on. Sadie turns the sign to closed and we both walk out. I let out a breath and pop the collar up from my coat. We both start to walk, and its quiet except the steady waves moving back and forth. Sadie lets out a breath,

"I'm actually not so scared." I look at her,

        "Huh?"

"About going to a party, cause' I never really went to one before." She rubs her arm.

"But I'm glad I'm going with you." Smirking, I nudge her softly,

"No prob, it's gonna be awesome! Just wait and see." She nods slowly, and I feel her fingers touch mine, and I capture them and hold them in my hand. She moves them so they intertwine, and I grin slowly. We keep walking, until I start to see her house up ahead.

"Do you think your mom likes me?" I ask oddly, not really thinking about it until now. Sadie looks up at me, as confused as me,

"Why wouldn't she?" We make it to her steps and she slowly steps on them to the porch, and I'm standing on the ground,

"Well, ya' know, my 'appearance' and how I am." Sadie holds my shoulders, and I look at her, and I see faint freckles on her nose and face.

"Don't worry Lars, it doesn't matter if she likes you are not." I raise an eyebrow,

"It doesn't?" She slowly leans in and pecks me on the lips.

"No, because I love you just the way you are." I chuckle softly, knowing that she just told me something a cheesy person would say, and she slaps my arm softly.

"Well, see ya later-" I say, hugging her,

"babe." I feel her get slight goosebumps and she hugs back. Pulling away, she goes inside and shuts the door. As I start to walk away, I try to think about what might happen tomorrow, until suddenly, I see the gray car starting to drive up the road, and I panic.

        No!

Frantically, I jump into a near by bush, and cover my head with my hands, trying not to be seen. A few moments later, the car is gone, and I sneak out of the bushes, and start to run back to my house.

        That was close.
