Sadie POV

        I follow Lars into the Arcade at he runs straight to the hoop shooter.

        "Aw yes!" He yells as he puts his hand in the machine.

        "Uh, Lars? What are you doing?" He grunts softly as he yanks his arm out, pulling out a basketball. Smirking, he says to me,

        "playing." He shoots, but missed the net, and I laugh,

        "More like failing." He blushes embarrassed and I nudge him playfully, putting a smile on his face. As he goes to get another one, I look around bored. Suddenly, I hear my name being called.

        "Sadie- right?" As I see the one who called my name, I grip my fists. Jenny walks up to me, her face almost hidden in her jacket, and hands in her pockets.

        "C-Could I speak to you?" she asks. Instead of insulting her, or just hitting her again, I nod, and follow her, leaving Lars to try to get another basketball.

        "Sadie, I'm sorry." Jenny says as she leads me outside. Rolling my eyes, I say coldly,

        "Right- why don't you just steal another boy-"

        "I'm serious, I'm so sorry." I blink in slight surprise. Slowly, she takes her hands out of her pockets, and looks at me,

        "I wasn't trying to take him from you- I swear. I just; wanted something, like you and Lars have. No guy is comfortable enough towards me to make a move, ya' know?"

        No

        Cause no one else likes me.

        I nod, and she continues,

        "You have a great guy. I'm really sorry, I just got so...lonely." Jenny avoids eye contact. Like she's scared to look me in the face. Then it hits me.

        She's practically scared of me...

         I'm like a monster...

        "I'm not like that, I-I'm not." Sighing, I rub her arm, trying to comfort her.

        "It's OK Jenny, I'm sorry for punching you." She shrugs,

        "I deserved it-" Before she could continue, I hear a car honk, and her head perks up,

        "Gotta go-" She runs off without saying another word. As I slowly walk back inside, I see Lars, shooting the basketballs in the hoop- well, trying to. When he missed another one, I chuckle,

        "You stink at this." Lars turns to me, and laughs softly,

        "It's not my fault, it's the stupid basketballs-" I cross my arms, and nod.

        "Mhm..." Lars lets out a loud sigh, and rolls his eyes.

        "Come on Sadie, this is boring." He grabs my hand and leads me outside with him. I try to protest,

        "But you wanted to come here in the first place." Lars shrugs,

        "I did...until it got boring; plus I don't have any cash with me." Laughing, he ruffles my hair playfully. I give him a side hug, and he gives me one back. As we look into each others eyes, continuing to walk down the dock, I hear Steven yell at us,

        "HEY YOU GUYS!!"
