Sadies POV

My minds spinning like crazy. I don't know if this is real or not anymore. 

Did Lars mom really hate me enough to tell me lies so I'd break up with Lars?

I can't believe this.

I go to the front door and see how hellish it is outside. 

How did this even happen?

"Oh my gosh." It's so horrible but I can't look away. I quickly go to the door and I throw the door open.

"Where are you going?" Future me asks. "You can't leave or you'll die even sooner!"

I turn to her, "what are you talking about?"

Is that a threat?

I feel my face scrunch in a bit of disgust

This is not how I am, ever.

This is not a future I want.

She continues, "I told you too much of your future. Sadie, I'm betting Lars told your Lars stuff too." My heart skips a beat.

Lars.

"I have to go, I need to find Lars."

As I start to run to the beach side, I hear someone following me. I ignore them, knowing the only thing that's on my mind is Lars.

I can't believe I thought his mom was telling the truth!

I'm an idiot!

I start to see the beach clearer- but the sky. It's breaking. A huge lightning bright crack is growing in the dark purple green clouds. It's ending, the world is ending.

As I stop on the sand, I look around helplessly.

Where is he?

I scream out, "Lars!! Lars!!" But no answer. "Lars!!" A hand clutches my arm and I turn to see future me.

"Sadie, stop! He isn't out here." But I wouldn't listen to her, I wouldn't listen to any lies any more.

"He has to be!" My heart begins to ache as I long to see Lars one last time. I want to see his face. His stunning eyes, his beautiful smile. His charming wit. I want to hear his laugh. I need to feel his touch. I don't want to die and him not knowing how sorry I am. And that I love him with all my flipping heart.

"He isn't! Now come back in-" suddenly, I hear someone yell my name.

"Sadie!! Sadie!!"

I turn around, but see no one. I keep scanning the beach but no one.

"Lars!!" I take a couple of steps.

"Sadie!!"

"Lars!" A couple more steps. My future selfs hands slip free and I start to sprint. "Lars!!"

As I go deeper into the beach, I see him. "Sadie!"

I start to run as fast as I can, screaming his name, "Lars!" He then spots me. He runs to me as well. As we get closer, the thunder continues to clap and boom and the ground is shaking now. But then, we collide. His arms engulf me and I fall to the ground.

I found him!

I love him, I love him, I LOVE HIM.

Lars POV

Sadie has me kneeled to the ground, in a big bear hug. I rub her back and keep her close. My eyes open to look at my surroundings. I see someone following Sadie...and it's, Sadie. Older her. Me and Sadie stand as I hold her hand tightly. "You talked to your other self?" She nods.

"And you to you?" She points behind me. I turn and see future me, frozen still, staring at the other Sadie.

After 10 years, they're finally seeing each other again.

They start to walk to walk to each other, slowly. They finally stop, just inches from each other. They only stare. They must be surprised; I would've been too. They begin to speak, but I can't make out their words.

"Lars?" Sadie says, and I turn back to her. "I'm sorry"

I shake my head. "Don't be."

"No, I should be. I should've believed you. If I hadn't believed your wretched mother, we wouldn't be here right now."

I sigh, and stroke her cheek, "it doesn't matter now. I have you by my side."

She hugs me close and I feel relaxed even through the earth quakes and the cracking sky.

The world goes even darker and people are running around Beach City. Frantically trying to find out what's happening. 

I can't believe this is how the world is going to end, because of Sadie and I.

I hear Sadie chuckle, and I look down at her.

This isn't really a laughing time.

"Do you think it's cause we found out our futures?"

"Hm...yeah, most likely."

"Was it worth it?" She asks. "To know what happened between us."

I nod slowly, "My life is so...sad and lonely without you." I turn to the future us and they're hugging and crying in each other's arms.

Reunited at last.

I look back at Sadie once more, and she says, "My life wasn't the best either. She just wasn't happy without you in my life."

I smirk, "I told you, didn't I? We can't function without each other."

"I never doubted you, Lars. Just didn't want to listen at the time."

Suddenly, I start to see a black fog of some sort starting to engulf the whole town. 

Here it comes.

Me and Sadie look each other in the face one last time. 

"I will never forget you, Sadie..."

She smiles, "Lars..."

The fog comes closer and closer to us. I close my eyes as our faces come close to touching. My eyes close and we are covered in black. I hear her whisper,

"I love you..."
