~Sadies POV~

Once everyone went away to go back to there homes, and Steven left with the Crystal Gems, it was only me and Lars. We both sit together on the side of the curb and we are both quiet. I mess with my newly freed finger and I try to think of what to say. Closing my eyes and sucking in a single breath, I say, 

 "Tell me everything, right now Lars." He suddenly says, 

 "I know. Fine." And then he goes quiet again. So I say to him, 

 "Who are those guys?" 

 "They...they were looking for me. And they wanted me to go back." I glance at him for a split second; his head is down and he messes with a small pebble on the ground. 

 "For? Did you kill someone or something Lars? Tell.Me." 

 "To take me back to my parents. They finally want me back." I slowly place my hand on his, "Tell me." Lars pulls his hand away from me, and looks at me dead in the eyes. 

"Stop acting like you want to know everything Sadie! You can't help me! All my stupid foster parents couldn't do anything! They kept doubting me and putting me back into the adoption center! They'll just keep me for a few days, then toss me out like the trash I am!" He suddenly stands up and I do the same. 

 "So let me help you Lars! I love you and care about you! I don't care about your pas-" 

 "Well you don't know my past Sadie!" As Lars yells at me, his voice cracks slightly. 

 "You don't care about me! Just leave me alone!" Without warning, Lars turns away and starts to sprint away. Yelling to him, I try to stop him from going any further, but he doesn't stop for anything. The things he told be finally come to my mind. 

  Foster parents?

 Adoption Center? 

Looking up, I see where Lars ran off too, and I start to run after him; to Stevens House.

~Lars POV~

Pounding my feet up the stairs, I stumble as I make it to Stevens porch. Without even knocking, Steven opens the door,

 "Oh my gosh! Lars! You ok?" Quickly I regain my composure and clear my throat. 

 "Y-Yeah, whatever. Steven. Take me to that island; now." I storm into his house and the Crystal Gems jump in front of me with their weapons, surprising me and I stumble to the ground. 

 "No guys! He's ok!" Garnet nods and all their weapons vanish. Steven helps me up and I speed walk to the warp thingy. Steven says before doing anything else. 

 "Lemme get my Cheese Burger Back Pack then we'll go." He runs up the stairs and I keep my head down. 

  Get me out of here, I want out. I want to just go into the dumpster where I belong. 

Steven inturupts my thoughts as he jumps on the platform. "Ready to-oh!" I look up and see Sadie sprinting up the stairs to the front door. 

  No! 

"Do it Steven! Do it already!" 

 "Wait!"Sadie yells as she runs towards us. As the platform starts up, Sadie lunges toward me and we are finally transported to the old magical island where 'we'all began.
