Hey Friends! This is a chapter so don't worry, Lol. I've talked about publishing a story to hold y'all over when I'm not updating this story and I've been cooking up some stuff in the drafts.
I wanted to try GirlxGirl because, I'm an international super spy. 🕵🏽♀️ LMAO. 😭 I'm not straight but writing GirlxBoy is what I specialize in and why would I do something that I can't do? But I'm gonna learn!
^^^^^^
These are the two stories but I'm only thinking of posting ONE. Which one do you guys think I should publish? Comment and tell me. 😜

"You sure you okay, J?" Monica asked as she parked. I don't know what she was so worried about.
"Mon, I told you I'm fine. Stop worrying so much. This isn't the first time I've stayed at home all night by myself. I've been doing this since I was in grade school." I reassured her for the umpteenth time.
"Okay. Call me when you settle down." She told me. I nodded and got out of her car and continued to the stairs.
I searched for my keys in my purse and finally retrieved them to unlock my door. Twisting the key in the hole, the doorknob finally fell lose so I could open.
I walked in and sat my stuff down and kicked off those heels. My feet have never felt so relieved. Finally getting out of this jacket and picking out of the bobby pins that held my hair back as I walked to my bedroom.
I just wanted to wind down. Find something to occupy me and have a glass of wine. I doubt I was gonna call Monica tonight.
Third Person POV
Janet found something to occupy her after the well needed shower. She found her old journal that she was confusingly attached to. She could never bring herself to throw it out.
She flipped through the pages reading all of the old entry's she'd write. She even laughed at a few of them.
Latoya really had some nerve to come in my room and bother me after I told her I wasn't feeling well. Sometimes I just wish she'd disappear. Then maybe we won't have to here her annoying voice.
She laughed as she read the entry. She couldn't believe she said that about her sister but she knew deep down it was true.
Malcolm is on his nightly rage. I wonder if he gives himself a headache? I've been trying to get Aliegha to sleep for the last hour. Her whines were making me not wanna be a mother anymore. Plus, it just made Malcolm even more mad. I should stop calling it his rage and instead, his tantrums.
Janet shook her head and shut her old journal. Stretching her limbs, she caught eye of the oven clock.
1:17 AM
She rubbed her throbbing temples and downed the last bit of wine in her glass before standing up to put it in the sink.
This was one of those nights where she was alone again. Aliegha was to tired to even walk herself to the car and Janet knew she wasn't gonna carry her. She saw it coming though. Every time Aliegha went there, she never was awake enough to come home so her parents always let her stay. She always played herself to death.
As Janet was cleaning up a few things around the house, the phone began to ring. She ran over and picked it up hoping to hear Lesane.
"Hello?" Her mellow voice greeted whoever was on the phone.
"It only took 2 rings? You must've been waiting on someone." The familiar voice that she knew to well came through. She surely didn't wanna hear his voice.
"René..."
"I've came off predatory, Janet. And I'm sorry." He said, slowly but sinister. Janet could hear it all in his voice. She wasn't gonna fall for it.
"What is it with you, René? Why can't you just leave me alone?" Janet asked with sudden shift in her voice. She was tired of these unexpected calls from here. It was stressing her out.
"I could if I wanted to, Janet....but I don't want to. Janet, don't let him drift us away. What about the engagement? The one your family was so excited for?" He asked. Janet shook her head.
"Goodbye, René."
"Janet, wait, please don't hang up. I'm going insane without you, Janet. I can't live without you, Baby. I even payed for you car this morning." He spoke. Janet quickly caught what he said before speaking, "You wrote that check?" She asked angrily.
"Of course I did. A husband always takes care of his wife." His demeanor changed from a crying man to a serious man.
"You wrote a bad check in my name..how the hell did you even get my checkbook?" She asked through gritted teeth.
"Since I haven't been with you, you must've forgot to always lock your doors..or crazy people could in it." He spoke. Janet scoffed, "Ironic isn't it? You are the crazy person, René. You've been harassing me these last few months and it doesn't stop. You can't live without me? Not my problem. Deal with it on your own." Janet ended it off right there and hung the phone up.
She sighed and leaned against her counter to think for a few moments. What was she gonna do to get away from him? How would she get this sadistic man to leave her alone? All these questions with ongoing answers...
