I finished cooking and made myself a plate and got a glass of juice and went to the table. Being alone all the time was starting to bore me to the max.
I don't miss Shawn at all. People always said that we were the 'Powerplant' Couple when it took me a whole year for him to help take care of Aliegha. Not to mention the times he'd put his hands on me
I immediately ran into the bathroom and locked the doors as tears ran down my face.
"Open this door, Janet!" Shawn yelled as he banged on the door. As sat there and sobbed cause I didn't want to see him. He's giving me hell! I hated him. The door opened and it cause me to look up at him. He grabbed my arm and pulled me off the floor
"Shawn that hurts!" I cried.
"You think you can come here late at night?!" He yelled
"Shawn I'm 20! I still have a life!" I explained to him through my tears.
"I don't give a fuck, Janet! You are carrying my child!" He yelled.
I shook my head, pulling myself out of the flashback. I sighed and stood up and grabbed my plate and washed it off. I can't believe I was 20 and going through 40 year old woman problems. After washing my plate off, I went upstairs and took my clothes off and immediately got into the shower. Every time I got into the shower, My mind went free. Everything seemed to come back to me when I was in the shower.
"Joseph! She's taking her first steps!" Katherine yelled, causing Janet to fall.
"Aww, Maybe next time." Katherine said as she picked up her youngest off the floor.
"Hi Mother." Latoya walked in seeing Katherine playing with Janet and Janet laughed her butt off. Latoya tend to get jealous of Janet as all the attention was on her.
"Hi Baby, How was school?" She said as she kept her eyes on Janet.
"It was okay." Latoya responded. She walked to her room and closed her door.
As I rinsed the suds out my hair, my tears burned my eyes. I rinsed it all out and turned the shower off and wrapped myself in a towel. I dried my hair with an t-shirt and threw on an old t-shirt and got into bed.
"Janet! For the last time, There's nothing under your bed!" Latoya scolded
"Yes it is, Toya!" Janet protested. Latoya picked her little sister up and put her back in bed
"Janet, There's nothing there." She said as she fluffed her pillow. Janet laid down and looked at her sister
"Goodnight." Latoya said
"Latoya?" Janet stopped her
"Yes?" Latoya answered
"I love you." Janet said and smiled. Janet has never said that to her so she didn't know how to respond.
"Goodnight, Janet." Latoya turned her light off and closed the door.
