"It's beautiful. I love it." Janet smiled leaving Lesane to smile with her.

He was proud. Not only proud that she forgave him but, proud he was given the chance to sit in this house with her and see her smiling. He was grateful to have someone just a beautiful as her.

"I'm glad you love it. Just wait, my little boy gonna be running around here —"

"Huh?" Janet looked at him leaving him to laugh, "You heard me girl, a little boy coming. I can tell." He shook his head in sureness. Janet scoffed, "It hasn't even been a months and you're already predicting." Janet rolled her eyes. Lesane was sure about his prediction so he didn't say too much. He ended off the conversation by passionately kissing her...

Days had passed since Lesane popped the big surprise on Janet. Everything was smooth for the most part. He was still working for Calvin and doing jobs, Janet was still in the lawfirm sitting on eggshells as she was trying to think of how she was gonna get another pregnancy test that was negative. Meanwhile, at the Jackson's household, a discussion was held.

"So what if she's pregnant!" Michael exclaimed with a laugh, "There is no what if. She isn't and we're not gonna keep getting on this topic. She knows better...especially when I wanna make her a business partner. A pregnant business partner is not a good look for the firm." Joseph shook his head.

Katherine listened to her husbands non-sense before speaking, "Do you hear yourself? Just as Michael said, so what if she is? I don't mind another grandchild." Katherine smiled at the thought.

"She knows what will happen if she is." Joseph chuckled leaving the two to look at him, "What are you saying Joseph?" Michael looked at him, "I'm saying if she's pregnant, she might as well kiss her job goodbye. She's not working under me and carrying a child...that'll mean she has to have work leaves and doctors appointments and I'm all about hands on work. I dreaded sending her home the other day." Joseph rubbed his head. Katherine and Michael were in shock about what they were hearing and also worried.

"Please Joseph..." Katherine walked into the kitchen to begin dinner. As she was preparing, the phone began to ring. With a sigh, she walked over to answer.

"Hello?"

"Hello? Is this Janet Jackson?"

"No...this is her mother. Can I ask who's calling?" Katherine leaned against the counter with a confused look.

"I'm calling from Stanford University about your daughters test scores...is she nearby?"

"No, she isn't. But, I can take a message."

"Okay. Could you please inform her that she passed the bar on her exam and that we would like to see her tomorrow afternoon to sign off student loan papers?"

Katherine's eyes bulged out, "Oh my goodness.." was all she could say.

"Thank you so much. I'll be sure to tell her." Katherine ended the call, "Yes! My baby made it!!" She yelled making Michael and Joseph rush inside.

"She passed the bar! Janet passed the bar!!" She yelled excitedly. Michael's face was plastered with shock, "Seriously? Where is she now?" He asked, "Work. She's putting in extras." Joseph answered nonchalantly. Katherine and Michael ignored him.

"We should have a dinner...a celebration dinner just for her."

"That's not needed Kat. We knew she was gonna pass the bar —"

"Okay? And I wanna celebrate it so we are." Katherine protested against her husband's negativity. When Joseph felt he couldn't fight against her decision, he thought of another, "How about we do it the day she graduates. A little graduation dinner." He finally gave in to something he dreaded. He didn't feel like Janet needed a whole dinner for doing something she was supposed to do.

"Wonderful idea. That's what we'll do." Katherine nodded and smiled. Joseph, on the other hand, felt all of this was unnecessary.
