Chapter 16

The elevator doors open.
I slowly turn around as I'm trying to stop my blood and tears rushing down my face.
We lock eyes. In that moment I want the world to stop and disappear. My day couldn't get any worse. Lando was standing outside the doors waiting.
His face drops as he he's the state George had put me in.
"Y/n.. what the fu-" he starts talking
"Don't" I say walking out still crying.
"Don't what, you take the week off without saying anything and now your beat up and bleeding in an elevator with George" he says holding me back from walking away. George stands awkwardly outside the elevator doors.
"Don't touch me" I say as I try to break free from landos hold.
"I'm not going to hurt you, you're safe with me" he says whipping the blood from my eye.
"I said don't touch me lando"
He takes his hands off me immediately.
"See George, that's what most people do when some asks them not to touch them" I say looking at George "not this" I say point at my face.
"So he did do it" lando snaps
"This has nothing to do with you so just go back to her, I wouldn't want to think she's alone in your hotel room without you" I snap at him
"Listen to your bitch and leave" George says smiling.
Lando goes to hit.
"LANDO NORRIS" I yell stopping him mid hit.
"So you're just going to let this happen, every time you two are aloud he hurts you and your just ok with it?" Lando says confused.
"I said go back to her"
"Who are you on about?"
"Y/n saw a girl go into your room today, not a good look mate" George says
"George shut up" I snap
"A girl? In my room?"
"Yes lando now please both of you fuck off" I say still whipping blood off my head and eye.
"No, You must have gotten the wrong room, are you sure she didn't go to daniels?" Lando asks
"Ohhhh y/n needs glasses" George says
"Why the fuck are you still here?" I ask George.
"I need to know how this turns out, it's like a really good romance movie, but live right here, right now infront of me" he says leaning against the wall.
"No it wasn't daniels room. And also thanks for talking to zak about the contract, it was really thoughtful. We don't need it anymore thought, I presume she doesn't work at McLaren, so no one would have a problem with it." I smile walking away.
"Don't walk away from me" lando says following me.
"Or what? You going to do what George did when I walked away from him?" I say turning to face lando. "Go ahead, I'm waiting" I say holding my hands up in the air and my eyes closed.
"I'm not going to hit you, don't be stupid, I would never lay a hand on you"he says pulling my hands out of the air.
"Sorry to break it to you, but your hands are in fact on me as we speak"
"I meant I wouldn't do it to hurt you"
"Oh please physical pain heals a lot faster than mental pain so please next time you bring a girl to your room, knock me out before I can see it" I smile turning around to walk away again.
I open my door and before I walk in I stop and lock eyes with lando.
"I trusted you" I smile and walk into my room closing the door behind me.

LANDO'S POV:
Zak informed my y/n was taking the week off and Jon would be filling her role aswell as being my trainer he was now my assistant for the week.
I went straight to the hotel to find y/n. I needed to know she was ok. Was she really hurt? Did I do something? I needed to know. Once I looked around the hotel and didn't find her I went to her room. I knocked on the door 7 times and I got no answer. Waiting for the elevator doors I could feel my throat start to close up. I needed to know she was ok.
The doors opened we locked eyes. My heart sank inside of me. She had uncontrollable tears streaming down her face a blood coming from her eyebrow above her swollen eye. George stood next to her with blood on his right hand. He hit her. My mind froze. I wanted to kill him there and then.
She said something about a girl but I ignored her. In that moment all I wanted to do was protect her.
"I said go back to her"-Y/n
Who was she talking about? Who am I meant to go back to? Did I have an interview? Am I meant to be in a meeting?
"Y/n saw a girl go into your room today, not a good look mate" George said.
I was ready to kill him once again.
A girl? In my room? That isn't y/n?
I had no clue what was going on. I didn't realize a girl was in my room. And if she was it wasn't with me. I wouldn't ever let another girl in my room u less it's y/n.
She walks to her hotel room door. She locks eyes with me before going in.
"I trusted you" she said with a sad smile appearing on her face.
My heart broke into a million pieces. She thought I was with another girl. She thinks I'm using her. In that moment I wanted to disappear.
"Ohhh you fuck that one up mate" George said
"Oh don't you start"
"I'm just saying, you lost a good one. She's beautiful"
"Who the fuck to you think you are, laying hands on a girl and then saying "she's a good one" mate leave before I kill you"
"Ok ok, just saying, you fucked up"
I ignore him and walk past to go to my room. My mind is racing. Did I really fuck up? Who was in my room? A girl... a girl in my room today ...?
OMG FLO!!!
I text y/n straight away.

*BABE!!! You saw flo, my sister that's who went to my room, I asked her to get me my water bottle!!

*You didn't tell me you where bringing family this weekend?
-Y/n 4:34pm

*I know, I'm sorry I totally forgot. Meet me in reception at 6:00pm ?
-Lando 4:34pm

*Ok, for what? It's too soon to meet your family!!

*You don't have to meet them yet, dinner? Just us x
