Chapter 15

"I don't want to hide this" -L
"Hide what?" I question
"Us, I don't want to hide us, I'm in love with you and I have to hide it from the world, that's not far"
"Lando i- I don't either but our-"
"Done, you don't want to either no buts, what's going to happen? They give out to us. Ok that's fine"
"I'll lose my job lando"
"Yep, and medical school sounds fun" he says giggling
"Your not funny" I say standing up
"Ok ok, serious talk, I'm not going to hide the person I'm in love with from everyone. It's not right. I want to be able to do normal couple things with you without worrying we will get caught."
"Ok so we do normal things like normal people"
"Your job?"
"Med school sounds fun" I joke.
"I'll make it work, I promise, but for now... follow me" he says standing up holding out his hand.
I don't say anything I just grab his hand and smile.
He leads me to a private doc to finish watching the sunset.

The next day as we prepped for fp3 and quali I was called by zak to his office for a meeting. I knew what the meeting was about before I even attended.
Once I got to the meeting I prepared to lose my job. My mind was going crazy. Should I got to medical school? Would I return to Williams? Could I go to another team? Maybe I could work in f2? Should I get a normal office job?
Once I got in I sat across the table from Zak.
"This isn't what you think it is" he said before I could even sit down.
"I think I have an idea what's going on" I smile.
"No no, you think you are here to lose you job don't you?"
"Well ya because of what happened in the garage yesterday"
"Well this morning lando came and talked to me about the contracts and now he thought it was unfair that he wasn't aloud be with you just because of who he is"
"But it's a contract and I get that, it's job policy"
"Look I don't want to fire you, lando has been his best since you started to work with him and I don't want that to change but I also don't want to stop the two of you, having a private life together, so even though I don't make the job contracts and polices, I'm going to try my best to change it."
"Omg zak.. I'm speechless, thank you so much"
"But, until I do I need you two not to make it obvious that you are together. So that people don't think I'm favoriting lando and letting him have his own rules. So no more hugs and kisses in the garage please"
"Perfect, I can try stop that"
I walk back to the motor home to talk to lando about the good news and thank him for talking to zak.
Once I get there I see a girl not wearing McLaren uniform walk into landos room. I don't follow her because I know if I see something I don't want to see it'll break my heart. I go back to zak and ask for the weekend off so I can avoid lando after seeing a girl go to his room. Zak agrees and tells me he will try find out who she is.
I walk back to my hotel and get ready to go for dinner with some old friends that are still working for Williams. As I go to dinner I realize that it's not just people I know but it's over half of the Williams team... including George. I try not to panic and sit next to Maya(old friend).
As we talk I tell her everything that's happened with lando, how we confessed our love up until the moment I saw a girl walk into his room. George overheard us talking and interrupted.
"So you aren't talking to lando?" He asks
"Not at the moment, I think I'll talk to him next weekend, but for now I just want to clear my head"
"Oh ok, understandable, what a dick though. Playing with your feelings and stuff. That's no way to treat a girl"
"Ahhh yes because you know the perfect way to treat a girl, don't you?" I say with a sarcastic smile reminding him I remember what he did to me.
Once we all get back to the hotel everyone goes to the bar, after a few drinks I start to gain more confidence. George was flirting but I walked away ignoring his every move. Once I started to feel more drunk I went to the elevator to go back to my room. Once I got in the doors where closing before they where stopped by a tall Ammmm man sticking his foot in making them reopen.
George stood next to me until the doors closed and we where now alone.
"So lando used you huh?" He asks
"Shut up"
"Ok ok just a question" he says walking over to me
"Don't come so close"
He talks another step making us millimeters apart.
"Says who" he smiles
"Me, get away from me"
"I'm not touching you calm down"
"George I really-"
I was cut off as he leans in and kisses me. I try to pull away but he grabs me back holding me. I refuse to kiss him back. I try to get away but he's to strong. Once I finally get the strength I break free from him.
"What the fuck you psycho I said stay away from me" I yell
"Don't raise your voice at me" he yells back
"Don't put your fucking hands on me"
Before I know it George hits me, busting the skin below my eyebrow. I can feel the tears form in my eyes as I stand looking at him in shock. I can feel blood rushing from my eye down the side of my face.
"I said don't raise your voice at Me" he says with a stern voice.
"You're fucked up" I yell again.
He hits me again. This time making my eye swell immediately, I can now barely see out of my left eye as it bleeds and swells forming a purple bruise.
I hear the elevator doors open.
