"Your about to pass out so follow my voice I'm going to count from 10 ok" the doctor said walking closer to her. "If you can here me after 10 then eh- we'll you shouldn't" he added with a soft giggle to lighten the mood.
"1......2......" he started counting.
"Why is she passing out, what's going on" i asked in panic not understanding what was happening. I mean I arrived less than 10 minutes ago and the only information I was given was that Emily thinks I'm going to kill her and that the doctors a big fan of mine, other than that I am clueless to the situation that's happening around me.
"3....." the doctor continued ignoring me.
"Answer me, is this normal" I asked now standing up from the seat I was sitting hoping it would make him notice me and answer me.
"Yes....4......5" and after that her eyes closed and the whole room went quite.
"Why did she pass out?" I ask in a lower confused and worried tone but I was internally panicking.
The doctor goes on to explain it is required to put anyone who has lost that amount of blood under anesthesia for safety processions and due to the alcohol in Y/n's system it was the safer option to put her on anesthesia in case the alcohol wore off in the middle of being stitched up and then she would feel everything.

Driving a car that goes 360 km/h for a living I often have the idea that I'm fearless. What can I be scared of? Getting into a car that could kill me in seconds for a passion and a job makes me feel invincible, like I fear nobody or nothing. Anytime I'm scared I just think of racing an I start to become fearless but that changed instantly as I walked into that hospital room. No matter how fearless and brave you think you are, seeing the person you love the most laying in-front of you in so much pain and knowing you can't help, is definitely the scariest thing in the world. Watching someone I don't know stitch up the love of my life while she bleeds excessively laying there unconscious was definitely my new least favorite thing to see.

I got lost in my thoughts overthinking everything but soon enough I was brought back to reality when the doctor spoke again.
"She'll wake up in around" he stated and looked at the clock before continuing "an hour".
His movement made me also look a the clock and realize that it took over an hour to remove the glass and stitch her leg and hand. In response I just smile at the doctor unsure of what to say.
"You can go get some food or something while you wait if you want, there's a food court down stairs" he says with a reassuring smile while walking over and sticking more needles into Y/n's hand.
"Eh ya, do you want anything?" I ask while standing up from my seat next to y/n, finally breaking the contact of your pinky fingers that have been intertwined since before she got knocked out. Even while he stitched her hand I wouldn't let go and considering he didn't ask me too, I didn't see why I would.
"Oh, Lando Norris asking me if I want anything" he giggles before answering. "I could do with a water ya, but say it's for doctor brooks, so you don't have to pay, which I'm sure you could anyways but you don't have to"
I just smile awkwardly as I walk out of the room, the fact he brought up who I was and my financial position made me uncomfortable. Walking out of the room I saw Emily sitting at the end of the hall in what seemed to be a waiting room area. I walked in the other direction toward the room court, with no intention of actually getting myself something. I just needed to get out of that small room because when I was in it all I seemed to do was overthink, then come back to reality, but start overthinking almost immediately again as I saw Y/n's passed out body laying there with needles and wires sticking into her hands and arms.

I got myself a water and of course got doctor brooks one too, I felt bad so I got Emily a water and some chocolate. I took as long as I could going back up, I wanted to waste as much time as possible before having to sit alone waiting for y/n to wake up. Once I got to the top of the stairs I looked at my phone to cheek the time. 4:20am. I still had around 50 minutes until she woke up. I stopped at the door of her hospital room and gave the doctor his water before walking to the end of the hall to where Emily was waiting. I felt bad for her, I know how much she worries for Y/n and the fact she wasn't aloud in the room to make sure she was okay, I knew it made her worry even more so buying her a drink and a snack was the least I could do for her. Once I sat next to her neither of us said a thing, unsure of what to say to each other. It wasn't awkward silence, more nervous silence. We just sat sipping water enjoying the comfort of someone else's presence. I was basically alone while y/n got her stitches, the doctor didn't talk and y/n obviously didn't either, and considering the waiting room area was empty I assumed Emily had also spent the past 2 hours alone, so having someone else that we knew there, was just comforting. For me at least.
"She's waking up soon, if you wanted to go see her" I break the silence.
"I'd like that. How she doing?" She asked shyly.
"She's good, I think. I don't really know, there's a lot of needles and other weird hospital things in her arms and hands. And she's hooked up to some beeping thing. It all looks a little scary at first but you get kind of used to it." I answer honestly.
"A heart monitor?" Emily giggles.
"What?" I asked confused.
"That beeping thing. That's called a heart monitor" she laughs taking another sip of her water.
"You rang me and told me she cut her leg, you could have told me how bad it was" I say lowly but still sounding annoyed.
"I didn't think it was that bad, she seemed fine, she was laughing and talking like nothing happened, up until she passed out from anesthesia she seemed perfectly fine" she admits with a sorry tone to her voice.
"Ya, eh.." I start not knowing how to respond but thankfully I'm cut off by a phone ringing in my pocket. I take it out expecting it to be mine but when I see the pink case I know it's not. Y/n handed me her phone while we where talking before she passed out and I just put it in my pocket automatically. When I look at the screen I see a number that is saved into her contacts as a bunch of random letters that don't spell out anything. I contemplated answering or not but I finally do.
"Eh hello" I say picking it up.
"Y/n?" A female voice says on the other end.
"Erm no, I mean yes it's her phone but no I'm not her" I answer.
"Who are you then? You know she has a boyfriend, and she's also hurt, so if your taking advantage of a drunk injured girl I will find you and I will kill you" the girl says in a deeper more serious voice.
"I am her boyfriend" I say with a giggle at how overprotective this girl is.
"What's your name then" she snaps not believing me.
"Lando" I giggle.
"Where did you meet y/n?" She says still not convinced it's me.
"Australia" I say quickly thinking of what the first race of the season was.
"What's her favorite drink?" She asks.
"Alcoholic or ?" I ask a little confused.
"Yes alcoholic, what the fuck where you going to say Fanta" she says now getting more annoyed at me.
"Rosé, flooring hell it's Rosé women calm down" I laugh thinking back to the first time we met and she ordered rosé.
"And how many siblings does she have" she asks but sounding like she's starting to believe me a little more.
"3, once brother and two sisters and as much as I'm enjoying talking about y/n can you get to the point of why you rang" I ask getting impatient knowing y/n will wake up soon and I don't want her to be alone when she does.
"Oh ya sorry, I just wanted to make sure she's ok she left covered in blood and she said she'd ring me back later but she never did, is she okay?" She says now sounding more worried that better.
"She's in hospital, but she's ok, I think I don't really know she's still under anesthesia she hasn't woken up yet, but I'm sure she'll ring you when she does" I answer honestly still not knowing who the girl is, but she seemed to be someone imported to y/n considering how much she knew about her.
"What hospital?" She says with muffled background noise as If she was moving things around.
"The royal London"
"Floor and room?" She says in a panic still muffling around in the back.
"Eh, 3rd floor and room 312" I answer presuming she's on her way.
Before she or I could say anymore she hung up leaving me and Emily sitting in silence again.
"Who was that?" She asks breaking the silence.
"Not sure, some random girl save in her contacts as Mwtus" I answer.
"Oh that's Maria" she saying getting up from her seat.
"Who?" I ask not knowing who Maria is. I stand up and follow her as she slowly walks towards the door.
"She met her the night she met you in Australia, she was the girl that she was having drinks with before you showed up, she met her tonight in the club" she explains walking closer and closer to y/n's room.
"Oh" I answer again not really knowing what to say.

I'm back :) finally lol
