Once we got back to the hotel we all got ready for the celebration. It was organized by some of the engineers so I knew it would be fun, considering they where all in there 20's and loved to party. It was in the hotels event room so I knew if I got too drunk I wasn't far from the hotel room if I needed to leave earlier than everyone else. Me and Emily agreed short dresses where the best option. Looking through my suitcase I realize I didn't pack any dress, I wasn't expecting to be needing one. I quickly text Emily. *I didn't pack a dress!!! *I have two, you can have one, it's kind of... risky but it's the only thing I have *I'll make it work xx thank you !! With that I made Lando go to Emily's room down the hall as I got into the shower. Once I got out he had already come back. "Dress is on the bed" he says getting into the shower as I was getting out. "Thank you" I get out and do my makeup and hair before putting on the dress... that was in fact risky, there was definitely a lot of skin showing, it wasn't my usual type of dress, I would never buy it for myself but for tonight it was my only option. Once I'm ready I wait for Lando who is getting ready in the bathroom. When he walks out I was in the middle of taking a mirror selfie (the one above 👆) to send to Emily to ask her how the fuck I am meant to keep my boobs from not falling out when I walk. "I- eh" Lando stutters with his mouth open and eyebrows raised. "I mean, I borrowed a dress form Emily what did I expect of course I was going to be half naked" I giggle knowing Emily was definitely a lot more confident when it came to her clothing choices. "Do not walk near Daniel in that dress" lando giggles. I can't help but laugh back at his comment. I paired the dress with a pair of full white Jordan 1's, not wanting to wear heels because I planned on drinking and I knew with drink in my system I wouldn't be able to walk in heels. Lando wore black jeans with a black sweatshirt and white shoes. "How do you look fancy in a hoodie" I ask baffled. "Not a hoodie, a hoodie has a hood, this has no hood making it a sweatshirt" he says with a cheeky smile. "Mister know it all" I roll my eyes walking towards the door. "Miss Norris" he smiles. My stomach turns upside down with butterflies. I can feel my face go bright red and a stupid childish smile makes it's way across my lips. We had only officially been together for three weeks but me and Lando both knew we had been committed to each other for mounts now, so hearing him call me by his name didn't scare me because it's something I've thought about for weeks now, how he was the only person I would willing give my second name up for. "Come on before your late to your own party" I say pulling him along with me towards the door. "I'm fully sure I can see like half of your ass in that dress" he laughs as he walks behind me. "Nothing you've never seen before" I laugh back. Once we get to the event hall we are one of the last to arrive. I see Emily and Marcus ordering drinks and pull Lando over to them with me. "That dress looks better on you than me" was the first thing Emily said to me. "It'll look better on my hotel room floor later" lando whispers in my ear making me open my eyes wider. I thank Emily and we all order drinks. After awhile lando and Marcus left and went to the group of other men there age on the other side of the hall and me and Emily walk towards a quieter area of the room that had some other girls, I knew three of them, they where girlfriends of some of the McLaren workers. We talked with them for a while and we all bought each other drinks, we each paid every round. After four rounds I saw everyone's glasses empty so I offered to buy the next round. "Want another?" I ask looking at the empty glasses. "Yes please" "Sounds good" "For sure" "I'll get it wait here" I say and walking towards the bar again. I ordered 6 more drinks and while I waited I could feel a hand rest on my lower back. "Lando" I say turning around shocked to see Daniel standing there. "Get off me" I state trying to keep calm. "I'll pay" he says to the bartender ignoring my comment and leaving his hand on my lower back. I panicky look around the room trying to find Lando but I can't see him anywhere, the room was too big and there was so many people it was hopeless. I turn and lock eyes with Emily signaling for help as I open my eyes wider at her. I see her frantically move away from the group of girls and in to the crowd. Seconds later Emily came to the rescue with both Marcus and Lando. No one said anything hoping there presents alone would make Daniel take his hand off me but he didn't. I quickly grab Landos hand squeezing it for help as I felt Daniel lower his hand slowly. Lando sat on the bar stool nearest to me and gripped both my hips in his hands pulling me away from Daniel and in between his legs. I stumbled over as I felt the drink inside me start to hit. "Thank you" I whisper as i lean my forehead against his. "Don't, it's my job to protect you" he says placing a kiss on my cheek. "Ruined the moment mate" Daniel said to Lando rolling his eyes. Hearing his voice made me turn around but I stayed positioned standing between Landos legs. "There Was no moment to ruin" Lando says back. "I was clearly making my move and you ruined it" Daniel said sounding annoyed. "Are you forgetting she's my girlfriend?" Lando asked while laughing. "For Now" Daniel snapped. "Your funny" Lando said still laughing. "I didn't know you had a belly button piercing" Daniel said as he slightly pulled the front of my dress down to show the piercing more clearly. Before I could answer Lando had pulled Daniels wrist twisting it backwards almost breaking it. "Hands off" Lando said in possibly the most serious tone I've ever heard him talk in. "My fucking wrist, I need it to drive dickhead" Daniel said with pain in his voice. "I don't remember asking" Lando said bending Daniels wrist back even more, resulting in Daniel letting out a whipper of pain. Daniel clearly wasn't giving up as with his other hand he moved a piece of my hair placing it behind my hair. "Babe move" Lando said asking me to move, I knew why he wanted me to move because I was the only thing blocking him and Daniel being face to face. I didn't say anything and just turned to face Lando again and raised my eyebrows showing him I didn't want him to start a fight. "I mean it, move now" Lando said placing a soft kiss on my lips, and with that I moved over now standing next to Emily, who was also scared of what was about to happen. Before I could even think straight Lando grabbed and empty bottle off the bar and broke it over Daniels head causing little shards of glass to go flying, hitting everyone that was standing close enough, Emily hand one in her leg and I got one in my forehead. Daniel shook the glass off and hit Lando which probably wasn't the smartest thing to do because Lando hit him back straight away, Lando had a stronger hit because of Daniels wrist being sore after Lando nearly breaking it moments before. With that caos unfollowed right infront of my eyes. I stood in shock as punch's where thrown from both Lando and Daniel. I could feel the glass in my forehead staring to bleed but I couldn't do anything, I just let the blood run down my face as I stood frozen watching two people physically fight over me. Daniel hit Lando again causing Landos nose to start bleeding, resulting in me tearing up, seeing him hurt or in any pain made my heart break into a million pieces. I wanted to stop him but I couldn't move. I was frozen. Lando hit Daniel back even harder causing blood to flow from several parts of his face. Daniel went to hit Lando again but Lando beat him to him to it hitting Daniel again, Daniel stumbled backwards after being hit so hard twice in a space of 10 seconds, he looked like he was about to pass out. At this point Lando went to hit him again, successfully he did causing Daniel to hit the floor like he had just been shoot. Lando rubbed his knuckles and waited for Daniel to get back up again, I was still stood frozen in the one spot, with blood flowing out of the cut on my forehead that had part of a glass bottle in it. As Daniel got back up he stumbled a little before standing up straight again. At this Point there was several people trying to break them apart but no one was successful. Daniel hit Lando again causing a burst lip but the damage Daniel had was a lot worse than lando. I mean yes he had a bust lip and a bloody nose but Daniel had blood coming from his lip, nose, eyes and forehead. I could see Bruising already forming around his eyes too. Lando hit Daniel one more time causing Daniel to fall back onto the ground. Again more people tried to break them apart but nothing was working. As Daniel tried to make his way back into his feet again Lando glanced over at me before looking back at Daniel again, with that Landos head snapped back to look at me a second time. "Fuck" he yelled as he ran over to me. I was still stood in the same spot frozen, with blood running down my face mixing with the tears that had formed from seeing Lando being hurt. I could feel myself going into a panic, the way I did when I was on planes but this was 100 times worse. "Baby talk to Me" he said whipping the blood off my head. I was lost for words I couldn't talk. I was frozen. My whole body stopped working. I stood aimlessly as my breathing got heavier. "Come on talk to me y/n say anything" he said worried as he slowly pulled the glass out of my head. He knew I was panicking inside and he was trying to help me before I broke down into a proper panic attack. As breathing got more difficult I felt my eyes fill with more tears. "I-" I tired to talk but all I could get out is I. "You got this baby, talk to me" he said cupping my face in his hands as everyone just stood in a circle around us. From my breathing he could tell I was going into a state of panic. "I- I'm.... I'm bleeding" I finally spoke, stuttering but I was speaking. "I know, I know, I'll take care of it I promise don't worry" he said letting out a sigh of relief as I talked. With that he kept his promise as he slowly helped me walk towards a chair close to us. I sat down and he grabbed some tissues whipping the blood off my head. At this point most people just went back to talking and getting drunk ignoring everything that had just happened. I was sat on a chair as Lando, Emily, Marcus, Jon and Daniel all stood around me. Lando was kneeling infront of me cleaning the blood off me as everyone else just stood looking at me in shock. "dat doet pijn" (that hurts) I said in Dutch so only Lando would understand me. "neuken" (fuck) he said with a worried tone. He stopped whipping the cut not wanting to hurt me anymore than he already was. Emily handed him a band aid trying to help. "A band aid? That's not going to work look at her head, does that look like a fucking paper cut to you?" Lando snapped. "Get me a proper bandage" he added. "She's trying to help you could be a little nicer" Daniel said. "Don't you start, if it wasn't for you She wouldn't be hurt in the first place" Lando said whipping the tears away from my face. "This is Your fault actually you smashed the bottle not me" Daniel said with a proud voice which was soon gone as he started to sway from side to side, I think lando gave him a concussion because of how big his pupils had gotten too. "Don't test me right now I will kill you" Lando snapped as Emily came back with a bandage and some medical tape. With that Daniel finally caved in and walked away. Well more of a waddle really because of the about of pain he was in. "doe ik je pijn?" (Am I hurting you) lando asked me as he tapped the bandage to my head with the medical tape. "Niet" (no) I smiled as I whipped some of the blood off his lip.
