Chapter 21

Sarah's P.O.V.

Ever since i turned  sixteen and got my licence, i am the one who has to make all of the random trips.

I don't really know why though.  I mean why couldn't Josh or Catherine do it?

Anyways, since i am the one to have to make the trips i had to go to the grocery store to pick up some food for dinner.

For a friday night i think that we should get pizza, but my mom loves to make dinner for some reason, but we never seem to have what she wants.

"OK, I'm going to the store now." I told my dad who was on his phone and computer.  And they say we're the ones always on our phones?

"Hey, pick me up some milk?" My dad asked me still looking down at his phone.

"Yup, its aready on the list mom made me."

"OK, well how 'bout some fruit?" He asked.

"On there too." I replied.

"OK, then you can go." He said finally looking up at me and smiling.

I smiled back at him and grabbed the keys.

The store is about ten minutes away so it gives me plenty of time to listen to some music.

Once as i get there the song 'Classic' by MKTO just ended. 

I pulled into the parking lot and went inside right as it started to snow. 

"Great, i hate driving in the snow." I said to myself.

I went to get the dinner stuff first so i wouldn't forget, even though its on the list.

I couldn't find the trash bags though.  Just one more random thing on the list for me to get.

"Excuse me?  Do you know where the trash bags are?"  I asked the guy who i'm guessing works here because he's wearing what the rest of the workers are wearing.

Before he turns around i regret asking this person because i can tell who it is once as i finished talking.

"Yea its... oh, you." Matthew said to me as if he was super digusted in even looking at me.

Well fuck you.  I thought to myself.

"Is there something wrong Matthew?  why can't you just fricken tell me where the damn trashbags are?" I asked Matthew getting mad because he was just standing there.

"They shouldn't be too hard for you to find, just look fo the sign labled 'Sarah'."  Matthew stated.

"And i told you that everyone calls me Matt except for my grandparents." He finished.

"Yea like i give a fuck what you say.  Just tell me where they are." I said in a low voice so no one could hear us talking.

"They're right behind you." He said walking past me while pushing past me with his shoulder.

"Thanks, ya know, i just had a really good idea." I said.

"You wanna know what that idea is--- Matthew?" I asked eviliy.

"No not really, you annoy me too much for me to listen to anymore." Matthew said walking away.

"Well, before you go too far, my idea was that i am going to talk to your BOSS or a manager about how you're treating customers who are just looking for a simple household item."  I said crossing my arms.

Matthew came walking back to where i was standing.

"Too bad you don't know who my boss is." He replied while smirking.

"Then i'll ask someone." I said walking away.

Matthew just groaned and walked away.

I was looking around for someone who looked like a manager so i could ask if i could talk to the boss, but i settled for a manager to talk to.

"Yes, miss is something wrong?" The middle aged (manager)  man asked me.

"Yea, um you now Matthew Espinosa?" I asked.

"Why of course, he's a really good worker." The man stated.

"Really?" I asked amazed.

"Yes... why?" He asked confused.

"Well i was looking for trash bags and couldn't find them so i asked him and he was a complete jerk to me." I told him.

"What?  That doesn't sound like him at all." He said.

"Really? cause that's basically all i know him as." I said laughing a bit.

"well, are you here for any other reason?" The manager asked me.

I noticed a 'help wanted' sign in the window of the store and decided that its about time that i get under Matthew's skin for real.

"Yes, actually,  I was here to apply for a job." I said.

"Oh, well lucky for you, we have an opening." He said.

I filled out some forms about the job and then the manager, whose name i learned was Bill, told me that he's get back to me soon.

I got the rest of my groceries and payed for them and went home.

The next day was saturday and Lilly and Anna came over to hang out because both of their boyfriends, Toby and Carter, were hanging out with Matthew.

It wasn't really too fun because Lilly got sick and left early.

Anna wasn't too much fun now that she has Carter as a boyfriend cause that's litteraly all she talks about.

So the rest of the day i was super bored.

That is until she left and i was alone at last.

I went up to my room to write my english paper and i decided to check my email to see if i got anything about the job.

Nothing yet.

HELLO!   SO LATELY MY CHAPTERS HAVE BEEN GETTING A LITTLE BORING.
