Sarah's P.O.V.

I woke up at 10:00 to an alarm.

"Ugh! Who's is that?" I heard Matt's groggy morning voice ask. It's so sexy.

"Thanks." Matt winked.

"What? I didn't say anything." I said.

"But you did. You said that my morning voice was sexy." Matt said.

"No I didn't... You're just saying what you want to hear." I tried covering up what I had said.

"Sure I'll let you have this one." Matt said.

"Anyways, like I was saying... Who's alarm is that?" Matt went back to the alarm subject.

"Uh it's yours." I pointed at his phone on the side table.

"Oh, uh... I'll just turn it off and we can snuggle." Matt said.

"Awe Matt your too cute." I poked his nose.

"Nah, your the cute one! I'm the sexy one." He said and kissed my nose.

I laughed and snuggled into his chest.

"Sarah?" Matt asked after a while of us snuggling.

"What?" I asked half awake.

"You know that the Fourth of July and my birthdays coming up soon right?" He asked.

"Of course! How could I forget?" I asked fully awake now.

"Well the Fourth of July is five days away, so I was wondering if you wanted to go on a little road trip with me and get some fireworks? I'm gonna combine my birthday with a Fourth of July party." Matt explained.

"Matt that would be so much fun! But I have to work." I said sadly.

"I'm sure I can get our boss to give us some time off." Matt said.

"How would you do that at such last minute?" I asked curious.

"He kinda owes me for something." He smiled.

"Maaat? What is it???" I dragged out his name.

"Oh. This is something your gonna want to sit up for." Matt said sitting up himself.

"Ok. In sitting... Now go on." I urged.

"Ok so I came in early one morning and saw him kinda in his office... He wasn't alone." He started.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"You know Martha?" He asked.

"The awkward 30 year old cashier? I asked.

"Yeah her, she was in there with him and I could hear everything. And I mean everything!" He said.

"Ok?" I was still confused.

"Sarah? Are you confused?" He asked.

"Yeah kinda." I said.

"They were fucking." He said with a straight face.

"Oh." I couldn't help but burst out laughing. Partly about what happened but mostly because I didn't get it until he told me.

"Yeah. Anyways, when he came out of his office he saw me and told me not to tell anyone. He said he'd do anything. I've been saving it for a time when I fucked something up and came late or drunk or something. But I'd rather use it on going on a road trip with you." He explained.

"Awe Matthew!" I said his full name on purpose.

"Princess what did I tell you?" He said.

"You told me about how your boss..." He but me off.
