Sarah's p.o.v.
I got back from my walk, avoiding Matt at all costs, and went to get ready for work.
As I was walking closer to my house, and not looking over at Matt's house at all because they were still outside playing basketball.
"Hey guys I have to go get ready for work, I'll see ta guys later." I heard Matt say.
Great. Just great. Now I have to go to work with him.
I walked inside and got ready.
It didn't take me long considering the fact that I have to wear a uniform.
By the On my way! I was ready I still had a half an hour until work so I decided to leave in like 10 minutes.
I walked down stairs to see Rachel and Justine playing Mario cart with some of their friends.
"Ha I beat you again!!" Rachel screamed in Justin's face.
"What ever. I'll beat you next time. Come on mike, let's go outside!" Justine told his friend mike.
They reminded me of myself when I was little and would play with Matt in our house and we'd play hide and seek. Or we would play eye spy... Or...
I was knocked out of my thoughts when Rachel and her friend Bridget came and grabbed onto my legs.
"Ha we gotcha now! Come on play with us please!!!" Rachel begged.
"Rach, your nine years old. Get off my leg." I said pulling the two kids off my legs.
"Ok but now will you play with us?" Bridget asked.
"Not right now, I have to go to work." I told her nicely.
"Oh ok." They both said and ran upstairs.
When I was about to leave I saw Matt get in his car and drive off.
I watched him leave and then I left.
As I was about to close the door I heard Rachel say that I liked Matt and that's why I was watching him leave.
The truth is, I do like him, I mean not like like him, I just don't hate him.
I guess I miss the memories more than I miss him himself.
I just shrugged off her comment and got in the car.
I was taking one of the family cars that the kids drive.
Once as I was at a random stop light a few feet away from my work I saw that Matt was right next to me.
I quickly rolled up my windows since they were down and tried not to look to my right.
"Hey Sarah! I see you!" I heard him say.
"Princess come on! It's me?" He said.
I unrolled my window.
"Cute, really, that you think I'm your princess." I said.
"Oh but you are. I'm the prince, so your obviously my princess." He said like it was obvious.
"Look it's a green light." I said making him look up and almost run the red light and run into cars.
"Damn, Sarah is a trickster." He said in awe.
"It wasn't even my best trick." I said rolling up the window.
"See you at work babe." He said before my window was up all the way.
Whenever he called me stuff like babe and princess I feel all gross.
"You wish" I said under my breath, but he wouldn't be able to hear me anyways.
