Chapter 4

Sarah's p.o.v.

I woke up did my normal routine, blah blah blah.

I went downstairs ate breakfast, went upstairs to get my backpack, and left for school.

When I got to school I met Lilly by my locker like usual.

"Hey lil, what's up?" I asked

"Nothing much, hey, did you finish your English homework?" Lilly asked.

"Uh, wait, we had homework?" I asked

"Yea, we had to write, and type, a small one paragraph essay type thing about the book we're reading!" Lil (my nickname for Lilly) answered.

"Uhh, guess I gotta go type this shit up in like 15 minutes then." I said while I shoved books in my locker.

"Ok, have fun, see ya later!" Lil called out as she walked down the hall.

When I was walking to the library to type and print my paper I saw Anna.

"Hey Anna..." I trailed off.

Anna was talking to... Carter? Matthew's friend?

I walked away to the library and decided on asking her about the whole Carter thing later.

I had 4 minutes to get to class and I just finished my paper. I printed it and the old librarian lady told me where to the printer room was.

I think it's stupid how the printer isn't in the library, but whatever.

I got my paper and headed to my first class.

--skipping the English 3rd hour--

"Ok class, please get out your papers I had you write about the book!" My teacher mr. Hansen told us.

I sit next to Lilly and some random guy who chews his gum like it's the last piece there ever gonna have (see what I did there?) and has extremely greasy hair.

We all turned in our papers and the rest if class was a big blur. So was the rest if the day actually. Except for math.

--skipping to math last hour--

"Hello class, so it's the last class of the day." Mrs. Ives started.

"Today is gonna be a review day for the test tomorrow." She finished

Everyone you could tell was happy that it was a review day. Even though that means there would be a test tomorrow I don't really care.

"Ok, so I'm gonna split you into groups of 6 with 5-6 people in each group." Mrs. Ives said.

"But first, pass your worksheets from yesterday to the person at the end of your table." She instructed.

We did as we were told and mrs. Ives split us into groups.

"Ok, group one...

Group two...

Group three...

Group four...

Group five...

And group six..." Mrs. Ives put the groups on the board and we split up.

"Umm mrs. Ives, I didn't get out into a group!" Matthew said.

"Oh, I'm sorry Matt, why don't you join group five." Mrs. Ives told him.

Great, just great! I'm group five, and I was quite happy with my group until Matthew just had to be put into our group!

My group (group five) consisted of me, Lilly, Hannah, Toby, and now Matthew.

"Hey Lilly." Matthew said.

"Uh hi Matt." Lilly said awkwardly.

"Toby, do we have a game tomorrow?" Matthew asked Toby who is also on the football team.

"Yea, but the time got changed to 7 instead of 6!" Toby said.

"K" is all Matthew said.

"Ok so everyone knows the rules of the review game right? Mrs. Ives said.

"Yes, yea, yep," those were all the responses that were said.

"Uhh, I didn't hear what she said, Lilly, mind telling me?" Matthew asked Lilly.

"No, you should've payed attention matt!" Lilly answered him sternly.

Me, Lilly, and Anna don't particularly like the 'magcon' football groups, i especially don't like Matthew.

Lilly likes Toby, she has since like the 7th grade.

"Ok, I guess I'll just go along with the game then." Matthew said getting annoyed that someone would talk to him like that.

Props to Lilly for making him feel that way.

We started the game and our team won. Our reward was 5 point of extra credit on our test.

--after school--

I was getting ready for soccer practice when my coach came up to me.

" hey Sarah, you weren't here yesterday for practice! Care to explain?" My coach explained.

"I got a note on my locker saying that it was canceled yesterday." I explained.

"Well, I'm not sure who out that note there, but we did indeed have practice!"

"Oh, ok I'm really sorry, I just though..." I started.

"Look, Sarah, next time just ask me our come down to the fields!" My coach said walking away.

That was weird. I wonder who put that note on my locker?.
