Chapter 49

Sarah's P.O.V.

"Sarah you open this door this instant!" I heard my mom and dad yell from behind my door.

At this point I could feel myself becoming high and I drank some of the vodka, but saved some for Matt.

"Fuck off!" The words left my mouth before I could process what I was saying.

"SARAH! Don't you dare use that kind of language with us! Now you open this door right now or there will be serious consequences!" My dad yelled.

I gave in before I were to get in more trouble.

"There, happy?" I sarcastically said while opening the door.

"Ok, now I know that you were out last night, and I'm pretty sure I know where you were." My mom said.

"Oh yeah? And where is that?" I shot back.

"You were with Matt weren't you?" My mom asked.

"Nope, I was actually with Anna. You see, she called me late last night saying that she and Carter broke up and she was gonna kill herself, so I rushed over there as fast as I could and I spent the night with her. So fine ground me as long as you want, because I know the truth, and now so do you. And I'm sorry if I broke the rules and helped a friend instead of just letting her die because I'm grounded." I lied.

"Well I'm not sure if you're actually telling the truth or not, but tonight I'm going to have Catherine sleep in here and one of us is going to check up on you every once in a while to make sure that you don't sneak out again." My mom said while slowly exiting my room.

I let out a huge sigh of relief and quickly closed my door.

I've been lying on my bed smoking weed until it was almost gone.

I noticed that I've been lying here doing this all day. I probably fell asleep or some shit, but I don't even care right now.

"Sarah... Open the door, it's me Catherine." I heard.

I groaned and opened the door.

"Holy shit, it smells awful in here and your eyes are all blood shot. Sarah! Please tell me you're not high." Catherine said.

"Then I won't tell you." I said and walked back to my bed.

"Sarah, if mom and dad find out what you've been doing, who knows what they'll do, they'll probably send you somewhere to get help!" Catherine said while opening a window.

"Hopefully this will get rid of some of the smell, along with all the perfume I'm spraying." Catherine said.

"Who he fuck cares anymore. I'm surprised that you aren't gonna go and tell on me." I said.

"Yeah right, I have way better things to do." Catherine said.

"Whatever." I said taking out my phone.

Matt texted me.

M- hey, wanna have a fun night and camp out with me? ;)

S- yes. But I'm grounded and my sister has to watch me to make sure I don't do anything stupid... Too late.

M- well maybe once as she falls asleep or something?

S- idk. I'll figure something out. But honestly I don't care anymore so be ready at 11.

"Ok, I'm gonna help you ok?" Catherine said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.
