Chapter 3

Sarah's p.o.v.

I was asleep on the couch watching tv when my parents came through the door.

"Sarah! Josh! We're home!" I heard my dad say.

"Hey dad, I'm in here!!" I said.

"Oh, here's your soup. You might want to warm it up a little bit." My mom said handing me my delicious looking soup.

"Ok, thanks. So, how was it?" I asked.

"How was what? Lunch? Oh it was good. I really need to get together with Laura again. She's so nice." My mom answered.

"Oh, uh how was..." I started.

"Matthew?" Rachel butted in.

"No! I was gonna say how was.. Uh... The food! Yea." I answered quickly.

"Oh, the food was good honey. Where's Josh?" My mom asked.

"I think he's in his room." I answered.

My mom walked up the stairs and Rachel and Justin went to their rooms. Catherine was still down here with me and my dad went into the garage.

"So Catherine. Was Matt a..." I started but looked around the room to see if anyone was in earshot of me.

"Was Matt a dick at lunch?" I finished.

"No, he was kinda rude though." Catherine said looking down at her phone.

-Josh's p.o.v.-

I heard my family talking downstairs so I quickly made the vomit formula and put it in my toilet to make it look like I threw up.

I heard my mom coming down the hall and I thought she might come in my room. She did.

"Hey honey... Oh sorry did I wake you,". My mom asked.

"Huh? Oh no I've been up for a while." I tired saying in a groggy voice.

"Ok, well... Oh great. We forgot your medicine!"

"Oh, mom, it's alright I feel a bit better. I must've had the bad milk too or something."

"Ok, well your soup is down stairs if you want it."

"Ok, thanks mom."

That was close. I was hoping that she wouldn't come in here and hold my mouth open while she makes me drink the discussing medicine.

The rest of the day consisted of me doing homework and eating popcorn. I was talking to Anna and asked if she wanted to hang out. Of course she said yes so after homework we went to the mall.

I got a light pink colored sweater, some jeans from Hollister, and a fall scented lotion from bath and body works.

Anna got some jeans from Hollister, and some hand sanitizers and lotion from bath and body works.

On the way home we stopped at scooters cause were not basic white girls. I got a Carmel hot chocolate with whip, and Anna got a hazelnut coffee.

"Bye Anna, See ya tomorrow at school!" I said to her as she dropped me off at home.

I looked at Matthews house since he lives right next door to me. He had one of his friends over. Carter. He and carter became best friends after he and I went our separate ways. Yea let's call it that.

Carter looked at Anna and smiled. Anna, I could tell was trying not to blush. Matthew sent carter a death glare and carter stopes smiling.

Carter and Matthew are on the same football team. All of Matthew's friends are from football.
