Chapter 6

Sarah's p.o.v.

We went to Anna's house to see if she was with anyone.

She always leaves us when without a good explanation if there's a boy involved.

"Lilly!" I whisper to Lilly. "She's in her living room!"

"How do you know?" Lilly asks walking up to where I am.

"I can see through her window." I reply.

"Ok, well, maybe we shouldn't be doing this considering on what happened last time we spayed on her." Lilly says once she gets to where I am.

"Yea yea yea, but they did get a new window! She shouldn't have thrown her shoe at it anyways!" I say.

"Well, would you not throw anything if you saw someone outside your window?" Lilly says.

"Ok, well we're going to stay!" I state.

"Hey c..." I can barely hear Anna through the window so I don't know who she's talking to.

"Can you hear or see who Anna's talking to Sarah?" Lilly asks.

"No, I can't see her but I can barley hear her." I say.

"Carter... Stop that!" I can hear Anna say.

"Carter? As in Carter Reynolds?" I say louder than intended.

"Sarah!!! Shut up!" Lilly tells me.

"Shit! She heard me! Run!!!" I say to Lilly as I start to run towards the car.

"Why is Anna with Carter Reynolds?" Lilly asks.

"I have no idea. Should we tell her that we saw her?" I ask

"No. Let's wait until she tells us." Lilly says.

"What if she doesn't tell us?" By this time we are in the car.

"Ok, but if she doesn't tell us soon, I'm gonna explode and tell her we know!" I say starting the car.

--the next day--

"Hey Anna!" I say as we walk into school.

"Hi, what's up?" Anna asks as if nothing is going on with her.

"Well, I was wondering where you were last night after the game?" I ask hoping that something will spill out of her mouth.

"Uhh, just at home with... My... Family." Anna says hesitantly.

"Oh, cause me and Anna were in the neighbor hood, cause we live in the same neighborhood. And we drove by your house." I say.

"Oh? And?" She says.

"Nothing, just there was an un familiar car in the driveway!" I say.

"Oh, uh Carter's my uh..." She starts

"He's my uh, science partner so, yea." She finished.

"I never said who it was!" I say excited that she spilled so easily.

"Shit!" Anna says.

"Sooo? What's up?" I ask.

"Well, idk we kinda have a thing." Anna says looking down.

"Oh," I start

"Yea, but don't worry, he's nothing like Matt!" Anna says.

"Why were you hiding this from us?" Lilly asks coming around the hall.

"Wait? You heard that?" Anna says.

"Yea, I heard you talking to Sarah, so I was waiting behind the corner." Lilly says walking over to us.
