It's been a month since I broke up with Tae officially. I just been working and focusing on Papa.

I finally found us a nice little town house and not in the ghetto like when we was with Tae bitch ass. I gotta pick the keys up today. "Ma you wanna keep a eye on Yosohn while I go grab them keys?", I asked.

"Yeah go ahead.", she said. I got in my car and left.

"Imma just stay here until my furniture is ready.", I told my momma as she found an outfit.

"Stay as long as you need. I'm proud of you, I ain't think you'd leave him alone. Here.", she said tossing me an envelope.

"What's this?"

"I been saving that for when if finally left. Just a little help." I opened it and saw money.

"No ma-"

"Take it Jazmine. That ain't hurt me not one bit. I did this for you from the first time he came and you left with him. I know you're done now so, take care of you and Yoshohn. I know you don't need it but it can help.", she said.

"Thank you ma.", I said hugging her.

"You welcome baby. You going to your cousin party?"

"Yeah I'm fenna get ready in a few minutes, you?"

"Nah. I'm going with my friend.", she said. Opp. "Don't ask no questions get out, momma gotta life too."

"Period then ma.", I said leaving. I went in my room and found me and Papa something to wear.

Me and Yosohn walked in my cousins back yard and greeted everyone. He ran to the kids and I went to the adults. "Okay then thickness.", my cousin Jayda said smacking my butt. I twerked in front of her before sitting down.

"Match that shit cuz.", my cousin Mario said holding up a wood. I pulled my already rolled one out my purse and lit it. "That's my motha  fuckin cousin! Where dude at?"

"Gone.", I said.

"Gone gone?"

"Gone gone."

"Oop, shots!", Jayda yelled pouring all the cousins a shot.

"You good girl?", my cousin Sonya asked.

"Never better.", I said.

"Period that's all that matters I'm happy you back." We hugged. One thing I love and will always love about my family is no matter how many toxic relationships anyone of us get in we always accept them with open arms when they see they worth and move the fuck on. No funny shit. We love each other and close as fuck. Jayda passed out some shots.

"To Jazzy pooh.", she said.

"To Jazzy.", everyone said cheering. We took the shots. We listened to music and smoked and sipped a little bit.

While we were talking my favorite cousin Khalid walked in with his daughter, a dude, and another litter girl. "Favorite cousin!", I yelled running to him. I haven't seen him in forever he just got out. Everybody went to the party but my face wasn't healed so I didn't go. Me and him talked though.

"Hey fav.", he said as we hugged. "You look good."

"Thank you you do too. Not better than Ms.Ava. Hey pretty girl."

"Hi.", his daughter said smiling. "Daddy can we play?" I started walking to the house to use the bathroom.

"Aye Jaz!", Khalid called. I turned around. "Can you show him where he can change her?" He pointed to the dude and the girl. I nodded. When they made it to me we walked in the house.

"Umm you can change her in here.", I said turning on a room light.

"Thank you.", he said. When I say chills. Girl stop you just got out a toxic relationship.

"You welcome you can just go back in the back when you done." He licked his lips and nodded.

"A'ight." I left cracking the door behind me before my waterfalls started.

He sexy as fuck.

His daughter pretty too, I wonder where her momma at.

I went to the bathroom then went back outside. "Fav I need a favor.", Khalid said.

"Hmm?", I asked as I sat down.

"Can you roll this?" I nodded then started breaking his weed down.

When I was breaking down the Dutch they walked back out. I studied dude for a quick second then went back to what I was doing. "Go play baby.", he said to her as he sat next to Khalid. She just stood between his legs and laid on him. I smiled. She so cute. I want a daughter.

"Y'all this my boy Manny and his daughter K'Monie.", Khalid introduced them. Then he introduced us all individually.

We all talked and smoked until it got darker and it cooled down. Then we moved everything inside. The adults went in the kitchen/dining room and the kids went in the front room.

I'm not at the fucked up level I'm at the feeling good level, I'm tryna maintain that.

While I was sipping on my drink Khalid's friend Manny passed me a blunt. I took it. "Can I sit here?", he asked talking about the chair next to me. I nodded and he sat down. "Which one is yours?", he asked me.

"Yosohn, he the one dancing right now.", I said pointing at him.

"Oh okay he probably around the same age as my daughter, she 2."

"Yeah he's 3."

"I was right.", he said as I passed him the blunt back. "Y'all drove or his pops dropped y'all off or.."

"I see what you tryna do.", I laughed.

"I coulda gave y'all a ride I'm sayin'."

"Nah I drove." He nodded. "You pretty, I ain't tryna sound weird but you are just in case nobody told you." I smiled.

"Thank you.", I said.

"You welcome." His daughter walked up to him rubbing her eyes just as Yosohn came up to me. "We gone heat going little mama getting tired."

"Me too my Papa tired. Have a good night." I got up and left before he responded.
