Skull and the Arcobaleno fell into a black portal on their way back from a mission.
As they fell through the portal they all wondered what Bermuda could possibly want from them to summon them like this without a single warning.Couldn't he have just come to them instead of taking their whole Van in the middle of the street? Granted, it was night, they were coming back from a mission -they first in weeks that took all of them- and had been on an empty land street, so it wasn't like Omerta was risked, but they were irked nonetheless.
Contrary to their expectation of landing near the Vindice Prison or Bermuda Van Vicktenstein himself, they exited the portal in a black forest with 2 moons... Hold up-- with 2 moons?!
One, the bigger one, was a bright and burning blue.
The other, smaller one, being a strong pastel red."... Mu~ This isn't an illusion."
"I don't think it's a trick from that Marshmallow Addict either, Kora!"
"We can see that too, Idiot Student...!"
While they were trying to figure out how they got here and where 'here' even is, Skull felt his tail twitching, feeling very uncomfortable, on edge. Yeah, he had a tail that he hides from the others.
But that's neither his only secret nor the most concerning...
nor would it be the last thing happening on this 'trip' either, that he was sure of.And last time he checked (the morning before the mission) he has terrible luck with field trips. They had a mentionable track record ranging from 'wanted death' to 'close-to-death'.
And as much as he wants to deny it -every instincts he has is screaming at him- he knows where he is all while simultaneously wanting to forget everything and all about it.

The 'Home' he'd been running away from and vowed never to enter -caged, captured or otherwise- ever again. It was part of the reason why he had become a stuntman after he'd escaped the organisation that's out for his life and his 'Friends'...
But then (as mentioned with unexpected mandatory trips) his luck just had to somehow throw his straight into the heart of the Mafia World.—Anyway, Backtrack. His 'home'.
Gehenna.
The Mirror World to their own, that's governed by his Father and where his good-for-nothing, devil-may-care-but-he-doesn't 'siblings' reside...
"....Fuck."
Sometimes he wondered if he was actually cursed or something - besides the one that turned him and the Arcobaleno into chibis. That one was Checkerface's fault and actually welcome when compared with his life. It wasn't even a dent in oddity or top 3 bad, bar the pain of receiving the pacifiers.
Just after the silent swear had escaped his mouth, Skull began to look around, skittish and on edge. While they did land in a forest and there hadn't been any dangerous things jumping out of it (yet...) - this was Gehenna.
There are no normal 'animals' here to speak of!
No, there existed beings far- no, way worse than that. Beings of fantasy and the essence of nightmares that would love to prey on intruders, especially humans such as his family. They themselves would be considered as prey - strong or weak prey - being up to their predators' judgment and own strength.
