* a few hours later*
I sat in the waiting room with my dad as we waited for him to be taken back for his MRI
"Dad it's gonna be fine." I said seeing that his foot was tapping
"Yeah your probably right .." he said
"Thanks for being here." He said
"Not just this time you come to every appointment."
"Dad there is no where else I would rather be that here ." I said
"Owen strand we will take you back now okay ?" The nurse said
"Yeah ." He said looking at me
"I'll be here when your done okay it will be fine ." I said
"I hope..." I said as they walked away
A little while later I got called back as we sat in the room
" so we got your results back .."
My dad slowly started gripping my hand
"Your cancer has officially made a return and it's unfortunate that its worse that the first previous times.."
My dad let out a sigh as I bit my lip
"Now we suggest that you take sometime off of work to try and beat this but it's not necessary .." she said
"I'm gonna work ." My dad said
"We're going to need chemotherapy and we advise that you have someone who can help you when your sick or the effects hit you ."
"That's why I'm here ." I said as I held back a tear
