"Mom I'm gay." I said to my mom as she sat on the couch beside my dad
She practically choked on her martini and looked at me
"Your what ?" She said
"I'm gay I like boys not girls ." I said trying to keep my head up and look at her
"That's impossible you only 14 your just confused I'll take you to church tomorrow and all of this foolishness of yours can be cured by the father ." She said
" mom I'm not confused I don't like girls that way I like guys that way ." I said as I stood before my parents
"You can't have a child if you like a man I need a grand baby !."
"Mom I could adopt a kid ."
"Keep your voice down before your little sister wakes up from her nap !" She snapped
"You are not gay your straight I will not have my child being a fagget ." She said causing tears to roll down my face
"GWEN that's enough he's our kid you should love his despite his sexual preference."
"He's like this because of you owen !" She said
"You let him think that that this behavior is okay."
"That's because it is okay Gwen ." My dad said
"Get that thru your homophobic mind he's aloud to like boys and you can't "fix" him as you like to say by brainwashing him with religion."
"That's it I'm taking Chloe and going to my apartment I'll have the divorce papers signed by tomorrow!" She said storming into chloes nursery
She stormed out the door with chloe which sent me dropping to the floor I felt like I was dying
My chest was tight I couldn't move I was paralyzed with fear
"TK are you okay ." My dad said looking at me from the door as I say underneath the counter
"This is all my fault .." I said struggling to catch my breath
"No it isn't bud ." He said crawling under next to me
"Mom left with Chloe and it's all my fucking fault !" I said banging the underneath of the counter

"There you go ." He said as my breathing calmed down and started to get tried
"There we go bud ." He said picking me up taking me over to the couch
