*A few hours later*
I got back from my shift putting my bags down Tk texted me earlier in the day that he took Ellie to the park
I got dressed just as Ellie ran threw the door
"Papa I started myself in the swings daddy didn't have to push me !." She said running to me as I picked her up
"Did you really bug ." I said giving her kisses
"Indeed she did ." Tk said walking over with buttercup
"I'm so proud of you bug !" I said putting her down
"Bug why don't you take buttercup outside and play ?" I said as she ran outside
Tk came over and kissed me
"Hey you ." He said
"Hey .." I said kissing the top of his head
"How was work?" He asked sitting on the couch next to men
"Good ." I said
"T can we talk ..please.."I said as a wrapped my arms around him
"Yeah I can't really say no now ." He said
"What did you mean earlier about how you were back there ?"
"I felt like I was there the sounds kept playing in my head over and over and over it wouldn't stop ." Tk said
"Where t ?" I said kissing his head
"Where my dad used to get his chemo ." Tk said
"We'll not used to anymore .." Tk said
"T what do you mean?" I said
"He had a screening today it came back again and apparently it's the worst it's ever been .."
"T...I'm sorry .." I said resting my head on his as a few more of his tears rolled down on my arm
Ellie came in as Tk got up wiping his tears quickly
"Daddy papa can you come watch me dance ?" Ellie said
"Yeah." Tk said giving her a smile
We sat outside on the deck steps I put my arm around TK's back as he laid his head on my shoulder
"It's gonna be okay ." I said kissing his head
"It's gonna be okay ." I said kissing him again
