what even happened out there tk asked me as i sat in my hospital bed his question replaying in my head over and over
"Los" tk said pushing my hair back
"Sorry," I said
"you don't have to apologize.." tk said
"I'm sure you are tired so I'm gonna let you sleep," tk said
"I'm not tired .. well I am but I can't keep dodging your questions," I said
"a woman had taken this kid and I showed up in my car and I yelled for her to stop but she kept running so I ran after her and I guess her getaway car ran me over but I remember not being able to move the doctors said my body was in po-post" I said struggling to remember the name
"post-traumatic shock .." tk said
"how long am i gonna be like this .." i said
''well they said your leg should heal in a few weeks you'll be on crutches ." tk said
''not the leg how long will i be all out of it and foggy "
"well they have you on antibiotics right now so when you get off them you should clear up but until your le g heals youll be drained sore ." tk said
" wait do you know if the kids alive is he, okay please tell me he's okay ." i said panicked
"hey hey, it's okay .... veronica texted me last night letting me know the kid was okay and safe because of you .."
"oh thank god," I said releasing a breath
" and your gonna be okay too.." tk said
"I changed my shifts around for a little while so that way I can take Ellie to school and take care of you."
"I'm not really in any pain ill be fine t "
"you say that now your drugged and numbed up " tk said
"dont worry i bought Tylenol ." Tk said kissing my head
" thanks.." I said kissing his hand
