I was sitting next to Tk holding his hand and while the doctor got his results
"So looks like you only broke you leg and a rib you got lucky considering you fell 20 feet ." TK's nurse said
"We think the reason you couldn't move after the accident was because your body was in shock ."
"So we're gonna keep you overnight for observation but your free to go home tomorrow you should be healed in 2 weeks but you have to do 2 weeks of physical therapy before you go back to work ." She said walking out
"Well that's good ." I said squeezing his hand
"Yeah.. but in my defense before you tell me to be more careful.. I was fine before my line snapped ." Tk said
"I know but .."I said looking at him
"You gotta be more careful you could have died"I said as Tk copied me
Mateo came into the room
"I'm sorry it's all my fault-" he said
"Hey no it's nobody's fault it was a accident." Tk said rubbing his back
"I'm fine okay ." Tk said

I got tk a muffin from the cafeteria after everyone left
"Hey I brought you some food ."
"I'm not hungry but thanks ." Tk said
"You okay ?" Tk asked
"Me I should be asking you your the one who has broken leg and rib and is not taking pain meds ."
"I'll tuff it out but Carlos I know how you are .." Tk said
"I just wanna make sure your okay ." Tk said grabbing my hand
"I was a worried when your dad texted me telling me you fell 20 feet and that you couldn't move ."
"I started to think the worse ." I said sitting on his bed
" I'm okay sure I have a few injuries but I'll heal okay ." Tk said rubbing my hand
"You should get going it's almost time for Ellie to go to bed ." Tk said
"I'm staying with you tonight ." I said
"Nope tell Michelle to go home Ellie needs her papa plus she needs someone to read her her favorite bed time story ."
"What if you can't sleep ?" I asked
Tk fake yawned to show me
"Tired see now go I'll see you in the morning and don't come at 6 in the morning nobody wants to be up that early ." Tk said shooing me away
"Okay okay I'm going love you ."
"Call me if you need anything ." Tk said with me
"Okay you gotta stop doing that ." I said making tk laugh
