Tk came home as I hobbled on my crutches put to the living room
"Papa !" She yelled running hugging my side
"Hey bug how was school ?"
"Good I won the kahoot !" She yelled
"That's amazing bug why don't you go do your homework and then we can color." I said as Tk gave me a smile as he placed a brown paper bag in the counter as Ellie went upstairs
"Before you say anything we don't really have anything here .. so I kind of just got a Chinese ."
" I just went shopping a few days ago ." I laughed
"Okay correction we don't have food for the stuff I can make without burning it ." Tk said holding up a container
"I got your favorite." He laughed getting plates out
" hey why does it smell like that in here ?" Tk said
"Like what ?" I questioned
"Gauze .." Tk said
"Maybe it's just your uniform ?" I said looking at him
"Yeah Imma change don't kill yourself while I'm gone ." Tk said
Not long later he came back
" so Michelle was here ?" He said holding up the bracket
"Oh yeah she wanted um .."
"Cut the crap Reyes let me see ." Tk said
I held out my hand so he could see the gash
" damn it Carlos !" Tk said looking further at the cut
"I knew I shouldn't have left you alone ." Tk said leaning his head on the counter
" I fell once t I was fine okay .." I said
"Yeah but you can't get hurt anymore .." Tk said
" look I promise I'll be more careful okay if it makes you feel better you can text me every 2 minutes if that makes your feel better ." I joked
" I just want you to be okay and Ellie to be safe and healthy ." Tk said setting the table
"Your doing it again ." I said looking at Tk
"What ?" He said looking back at me
"Going all hero mode until you kill yourself ." I said
" I legit never do that ." Tk said getting napkins
I raised a eyebrow
"Why didn't you tell me ?" Tk said looking at me
" because you would lose your shit ." I said laughing at him
"I do not lose my shit my shits in order my shits perfectly in tack I've never lost my shit ." Tk said leaning on the counter
"Your doing it right now ." I chuckled
" I am not ." Tk buffed
" whatever you say ." I laughed
"Watch it Reyes before I baby proof the house ." Tk said giving me a smirk
" you wouldn't."
" I would ." Tk said
"Touché ."
Tk gave a smile as he heated up the food
