I came home from work around 12 walking in to what I expected to be a empty quiet house but saw Tk curled up on the couch with a blanket
"Hey you didn't have to wait up .." I said kissing his head sitting next to him
"I wanted to hear about your first day back ." Tk said rubbing his eye
"So how was it ?" He asked
"Pretty boring .. they kept me to minimum street work which made it even worse ."
"It was that bad ?" He said rubbing my neck
"I don't know it just feels like I'm back without really being back and they said it's gonna feel like that for another week until they think I'm ready ..."
"Well better late then never right ?"
"Yeah I guess your right ." I said
"How was your day ?" I asked getting no response
"T .. let's go to bed your falling asleep ." I said stroking through his hair
"Can we just stay here please ." Tk Whined
"Sure baby ." I said laying behind him so that way I was spooning him as I do so many times
"I love you baby ." I said kissing behind his ear lobe
