We were saying goodbye to TK's mom before she left for the airport
"Bye mom have a good fight home ."Tk said as he hugged her
"Thanks hunny love you ." She said pulling out of it
"Love you to ." Tk said as she shut the door
I hugged Tk as Ellie hugged our legs
"Can we invite grandpa to get ice cream with us ?" She said grabbing her stuffed frog that Owen gave her
I looked at Tk and we exchanged looks and then he gave a nod
" hey Ellie come sit down for a minute me and papa wanna talk to you about something.." Tk said
" okay ." She said in her usually bubbly attitude
" so .. grandpa was really sick as you know right ?" Tk said
"Yah." She said
I looked at Tk to make sure he was ready
"Grandpa unfortunately passed away bug .." Tk said rubbing her head
"Huh ? What does that mean again ?"
" it's when you go to heaven bug ." I added in.
"So I'm never gonna see grandpa again ?" She said looking at Tk
"You will bug when you go to heaven a long long time from now but he's loves you very much baby ." Tk said placing kisses on her head
" Do you miss grandpa." She said with tears in her eyes
" I do very much bug but he's not in pain anymore he's free so even though he's not here he's always with you bug ." Tk said
" I'm sad she said hurrying her head in TK's chest ."
"I know bug but whenever you wanna feel close to grandpa you can always ask me and papa and we can all go through photos and I can tell you some story's whatever you want bug" Tk said
Later that night I came into Ellie's room seeing Tk and Ellie asleep together Ellie in TK's chest in Ellie's bed I quietly came in covering them with a blanket the placing a kiss on each of there heads the quietly exiting the room turning off the light
