I woke up not able to catch my breath I looked around the room seeing everyone was still sleeping I got up and headed out of the bunk room
I got some water and sat at the counter trying to catch my breath fully
Judd came downstairs into the kitchen
"I called your boy he's coming to pick you up .." he said rubbing my back
"I'm fine ."
"Your not you can barely catch your breath ." He said
"What was ur about?" Judd asked
"My dad ." I said sipping my water and rubbing my hand thru my hair
"I'm still on shift I can't just leave ." I said sipping my water
"Your shift ended a hour ago you offered to stay and help out ." Judd said when Carlos's car pulled up
"Go home okay get some rest ."
"Thanks Judd ." I said walking out of the station to his car
"Hey .." Carlos said
"Did the nightmares come back ?" He asked
"They never went away ." I said looking at the window
"Let's get you home maybe get some decent sleep okay ?"
We got home I got a water
"Do you want me to make you a smoothie ?" He asked
"No thanks tho I'm just gonna try and get some sleep .." I said walking up the stairs
