I woke up feeling better but still pretty crappy my throat was scratchy but I didn't feel like I was gonna puke
"Morning sleepyhead ." My dad said from the counter
"Morning ..how long was I out ?" I asked rubbing my eyes
"12 hours you were asleep since Carlos left ."
"I slept that long ?" I said
"Don't act so surprised you've slept longer." My dad said laughing as he got the thermometer and walking over to me
"Dad you can't come near me I'm not getting you sick ." I said
"If my kid has it I would rather be here for you and get then stay away ." He said as he put the thermometer in my mouth
"99.4 it went down some so that's good ." He said
" dad you really shouldn't be near me I don't want to get you sick with your cancer .." I said
"Tk you realize I've been around you for 2 days now while you've been sleeping and throwing up I'm pretty sure if I would have got sick by now." He said
"I can't lose you to ." I said shaking my head
"Tk your not gonna lose me I'm not going anywhere." He said
"Yeah that's what mom said ." I said looking at my lap
"Tk I know she said that but I'm not leaving you alright we are all each other got ." He said rubbing my head
"Yeah.." I said
"Imma go make us smoothies ." He said getting up
"I thought you weren't leaving me ." I said laughing
"Smoothies are a exception ." He said as I coughed
