Jeongin snuggle closer into Hyunjin's chest as they laid in each others arms in a peaceful and comfortable silence.

The were used to be so close to each other, and yeah it often made a lot of people stare at them weirdly when they were growing up, bit they never seemed to care, they had each other after all.

Being in his bestfriend's arms was such a nostalgic feeling, they have in fact been separated for a good amount of time, and it felt stress relieving bring back in each others arms.

Jeongin could've tell Hyunjin spend his time talking about more personal stuff with Seungmin, to trust each other more and to make sure their relationship wouldn't turn toxic due to the lack of communication. He was really proud that Hyunjin was able to take such a huge step considering the fact that the latter always had issues with communicating properly.

So knowing that they finally got to communicate made Jeongin happy.

Eventually Jeongin's mind switched to the whole situation between him and Chan. He was still processing that they were going to get married. It wasnt because he disliked the idea at all, but the said impulsive decision kinda took him off of his feet for a while, he really hoped Chan did this for them and not just to save himself from marrying Lia.

"What if Chan only wants to marry me to avoid being forced together with Lia?" Jeongin suddenly spoke, scaring Hyunjin who seemed to enjoy the peaceful silence.

"Are you doubting that Chan actually loves you?" Hyunjin asked in response not sure what to fully answer.

Jeongin thought for a second, shaking his head.

"I don't know, it just came into my mind impulsively, it caught me off guard so..kinda thought I should just go for it" Jeongin replied.

Hyunjin hummed as he brushed the younger's hair out of his face. Smiling as Jeongin giggled softly.

"I think you're just overthinking, especially considering the fact you're parents never paid attention to you, you may be scared of getting false hopes in relationships..I can see that Chan looks at you differently than others, so don't doubt yourself so much, he likes you the way you are" Hyunjin exclaimed as he ran a hand through the younger's hair.

"You're right. Maybe I'm just nervous and new to love, it'll go just fine" Jeongin laughed out nervously, hugging Hyunjin's waist with a small pout.

Hyunjin patted his back and kissed his forehead, smiling as Jeongin nuzzled closer to him.
