Chapter Forty three-Don't Be Someone You're not

Who are you to be someone else?

If God wanted you to be someone else, he would've made you them. God made you for a reason, not to change yourself. In life you have to accept that you can't be perfect. You can't always be the best thing. There's gonna be that person who has it better. The better clothes, thighs, grades, wealth, etc.

We strive for perfection, yet we can't even scratch the surface of what it is. If you keep setting a goal for yourself, once you reach it, then it won't be good enough. You'll keep trying to be thinner, prettier, or better, and once you are, that's suddenly not good enough anymore.

Point is no matter how hard you try, you're gonna want to change yourself. You can't do anything about it except accept the fact that you're not them.

You are you. God wouldn't make you to strive to be someone else. Let them be themselves. Who are you to interfere with their lives?

You're you. Sooner or later you're gonna have to accept that.
