Behind every fake smile is real tears, people just don't know how good others are at hiding it. Someone could seem so happy, but are so mean to themselves. You can't go into their minds and see what they're thinking. You wouldn't want to. Just because your thoughts are bubbly and shiny doesn't mean everyone's are.
We all carry those things inside which no one can see. They weigh us down and drag us out to sea. But some seas are deeper, way deeper.
Don't say self harm is ridiculous because you don't know what goes through others minds. That could be their only exit. How they feel human. Stop judging people who hate themselves. Instead of being mean, you could give them a reason to love their lives.
