"Lady Mira."

I snapped back to reality. I must have gotten lost in my memories. I looked at my hands and my work. I had started a pattern on the sleeve of my other clothes. It started nicely but at one part it got sloppy, probably the time when I dozed off.

"Are you alright?"

I turned and saw Thrawn standing right next to me. His hand was on my shoulder probably he was prepared to shake me a little if I didn't respond to his call. When did he get into my room? I looked at the entrance and saw a sentry trooper standing at the doorway. I must have been very deeply into the memory lane if I couldn't hear them coming. Or is it the effect of the song? It did have a calming effect on children and animals. And I was told that some adults also hum it to calm down. There were still things I have yet to learn about my people.

"I'm fine. I'm sorry for not answering." I said awkwardly. "Is there something you need from me?"

"It can wait," Thrawn said looking at me. Was he worried? Well, I didn't answer the door nor did I respond to him entering. No, worry isn't something to be used with him. It was either interest or something close to it. He was probably wondering what made me doze off like that.

"But I think it is necessary for you to know that Lord Vader made contact and asked for you," Thrawn said.
That wasn't good. If I have made him wait then he will remind me of it. Not in a pleasant way. I felt my throat going dry as I asked him.

"What did he want?"

"He mostly talked about Mon Mothma. How she should be captured and silenced. I informed him that we already sent a couple of ships to arrive ahead of her and a few more after her." Thrawn said.

"Did he say what he needed of me?" I asked feeling nervous about his answer.

"He said, that you know what it is about. And that if you don't have anything to report then not to bother calling back." Thrawn said.

If Vader wanted to sound like he was very displeased, he succeeded. But of course, he wouldn't tell anyone what he expected me to report. He probably wanted to know if Mon Mothma has a part in my visions. Unless he asks for it directly, I don't have to say anything. But if he does then I have a way to keep the critical information hidden. At least, for a while.

"There is nothing important to report to him," I said meekly. "If he makes contact again let me know."

"Certainly," Thrawn said. He inclined his head and turned to leave. As he left the sentry trooper also left, and I was alone in my room again. Hopefully, the rebels manage to escape and keep Mon Mothma safe. No, not hopefully, they will do it. The Rebel Alliance is about to begin. Mom Mothma will start it and it will grow. It will become big enough to truly rival the Empire. And when the time comes they will win great battles.

Vader did make contact again, and he asked the very things I knew he would ask. I was alone in the room facing only the pale holographic image of the dark figure. A little later, after Thrawn left my room, came in the report that the rebels and Mon Mothma escaped from the blockade made by Konstantine and Pryce. I had to report that too to Vader, he didn't sound happy about it, but he was more interested in the visions. I had prepared for that and gave him the very answers I knew I should give. He did ask of Mon Mothma's part in the visions, and I had answered honestly to everything. And I also managed to keep the vital information out of the discussion. If Vader would have been any more frustrated then he would have kept questioning me. But the remark I had made now and before was enough to end the discussion there. He wasn't happy with it but he won't be too angry about either. I ended the conversation and left the room to return to my quarters, only to suddenly meet with Thrawn immediately after exiting the room.
