I had seen this one many times. Kanan and Hera stand on the top of the fuel depo.  They kiss, and soon the assault shuttle will come piloted by Sabine, and Ezra aboard. It hurts to watch this again. My eyes lower as I know what comes next. But instead, I hear a new voice that isn’t part of the vision.

“Mira?”

I am not supposed to be part of the vision nor should anyone mention me, Who then…?

“Mira.”

This isn’t part of the vision. What is it then?

“Mira!”

A hand grabs my shoulder and spins me around to meet the blue eyes of a boy I recognized quickly.

“Ezra?”

“What are you doing here?” He asked.

“Me? Why are you…?”

“Mira?”

“Ahsoka?”

Why are they here? How come I can speak with them? How? It takes a while but then I remember the voice of Kanan in my visions and he spoke to me. The wolves attacking me. This is the doing of the Force. But then why are they here?

“What are you doing here?” Ezra asked again.

“Me?... Why are you here?” I asked also again.

“We came through a portal. Well, I pulled Ahsoka through one, and I came through another that was shown by the wolves…” Ezra tried to explain.

“Hold on, wait a minute… A portal? You can get here through a portal?” I asked.

“Yeah, how did you get here?” Ezra asked.

“I… I…” I wasn’t sure what to say. Where is this anyway?

“Wait, you could help us,” Ezra said. “We are trying to save Kanan.”

I didn’t say anything. But my reaction spoke more than anything else. I spun around and looked at… a window that showed Kanan holding back the fires of the burning fuel. I had seen this many times and I did want to help. But I shouldn’t do it. It was made so clear to me.

Ezra came closer to the window and he saw Kanan stand there, and he reached toward the window.

“No, Ezra you can’t,” I said and grabbed his arm only to miss it.

“I can reach him,” He said.

“Ezra, Kanan gave his life so you could live. If he is taken out of this moment, you all die.” Ahsoka said.

“You don’t understand what you’re asking me to do,” Ezra said with evident hurt in him.

“Yes, I do. You can’t save your master, and I can’t save mine. I’m asking you to let go,” Ahsoka said.

“Ezra, how many times do you think I have seen this happen?” I asked.

“What do you mean? You have seen this happen? Before it actually happened?” Ezra asked.

“Mira, could this be… your vision?” Ahsoka asked.

“I don’t know why or how you are here, but I come here almost every time I close my eyes,” I said.

“Maybe when you fall to a certain degree of sleep, or something similar as meditation, the force leads you here.” Ahsoka thought out loud. “Then all your visions are what you have seen through these portals.”

“But we had to go through one to get here, how can Mira get here without one?” Ezra asked.

“Because I’m not really here,” I said realizing what I was told before. “After Kanan died, a wolf appeared in my vision, right here, and they said that I’m not really here.”
