The dissection of the creature was done by two medical droids that were reprogrammed to do the dissection. While the droids did their work, Thrawn, Faro, Ronan, and I watched from behind the security glass.
As I watched, I began to feel uncomfortable. I have seen dissection before once with Vader and it didn’t bother me then. Mostly because Vader wanted me to watch it and not turn away. It was part of his “training” to make me indifferent to the pain and suffering. Now, however, for some reason, I felt like… throwing up.“Are you alright, my Lady?” Faro asked quietly so Thrawn and Ronan wouldn’t hear.
“I'm… not sure. I’m not normally bothered by the dissection but… I feel a bit uncomfortable.” I answered in an equally quiet voice.
“Have you seen many dissections before?” She asked.
“A Few. Lord Vader wanted me to observe the process. He even made me stand in the same room a couple of times.” I said.
“You should have some nerves of steel then. I, myself find it a bit distasteful but it does offer a learning opportunity.” She said.
“That it does,” I said and swallowed. My mouth was picking up a taste of something bitter and gastric. But I didn’t gag, I didn’t feel like it, yet. I concentrated on keeping my stomach in check, so I ignored everything that was said by Thrawn and Ronan. Whatever it was, Ronan was once again voicing very loudly about something that displeased him. I didn’t want to hear it. But it made me almost block every other sound. It was when Thrawn placed his hand on my shoulder that I noticed that he called for me.
“My Lady, are you alright?” He asked.
“I…” I looked around and noticed that Faro and Ronan were gone from the room. And I had missed the reason why.
“You seem a bit pale.” Thrawn continued seeing that I couldn’t answer.
“I’m feeling a bit under the weather. I’m sorry, I can normally manage the scene of dissection. But…” I tried to explain.
“It is alright. There is no need to apologize. We however did agree that you would retire to your room when you won’t feel well.” Thrawn said.
“Sir, I can…” I tried but Thrawn didn’t let me finish.
“Go to your quarters and rest a bit. Right now there is nothing else to be done. The further results will come when the dissection is done.” Thrawn explained making it sound as if there was no shame to retire for now. I saw no reason to refuse so I agreed.
“Alright,” I said. “I'll go but please let me know if something new comes up.”
“I will,” Thrawn assured me.
I left the room and headed to my quarters. The gastric taste made two times its way to my mouth twice before I got to my room. The first thing I did was to get some water to drink. After a glass, I sat on the couch in my room and got comfortable on it half sitting and half leaning toward the rest. It was then that I remembered my vision. In the past where Amarde clan used to herd grallocs away from ships. They didn’t use any technology or special maneuvers. They used food.

I hadn’t realized that I had fallen asleep before I woke up. I felt stiff from the neck since I had fallen asleep on the couch. When I checked the Chrono I realized how long I had slept. A bit over an hour. I hope I haven’t missed anything important. I walked to the bridge and noticed how the crew was busy. Were we heading somewhere? Instead of stopping anyone and asking, I kept walking and arrived at the bridge. After hearing Ronan's voice I thought of returning to my quarters rather than listening to his annoying complaints.
