Its was a start of a new day. My new life stared today, I would go with the dwarves and hopeful live with them. But Bilbo also told me that if I wish I could go back with him go The Shire. Gandalf said I could stay with him and even Beorn offered. But I'm siding with the dwarves at this moment because, I could start all over. But I wasn't so sure only because Balin and the hay guy, who's name is Bofur, that I found out last night. But anyways they asked me to live with them. I thought it was nice and all, but I think that the king should have a word in it.
I sighed loudly and pushed myself!f out of bed. Fili broke my mirror last night so I really couldn't tell what I looked like thins morning. I pulled off Beorns large shirt and dressed myself. I put on a white shirt than topped it with a blue and gold corset. Put on blue pants to match the corset than added my black cloak.
I sighed to myself once again knowing I can't look at myself. I brushed through my hair and braided it back up. Tied up my boots than started placing my weapon around my body.
As soon as I was done I jumped at the knock on my door.
"Come in" I yelled brushing my clothes down
I saw two tall figures walk in and shut the door behind our if the corner of my eye. I sighed at the fact. I turned around slow and sat in the floor waiting for my lecture.
"Your in trouble you know " Gandalf said with a disappointed look
"That's what I figured"
"It's not bad, it's a trouble thing in the future Laci. We've come to tell you something from a fathers perspective" Beorn spoke
"I love you both I really do but come on I'm an adult now I'm 183 years old. What do you guys need to tell me even though I'm an adult"
"You need to, Hugh this is hard, just promise us one last time okay"
"Okay??" I hesitated
"Don't get to close to any of those dwarves okay. We looked to the future, your future you'll be heart broken by the end of this" Gandalf said gently
"W-what do y-you mean. I thought that I could live with them all happy" I shouted
"Listen, listen Laci the future could change and you know that, WE KNOW THAT" Beorn interrupted
"I know" I sighed "Should we go" I asked.
They both nodded and we left out of the house to meet up with the group. As soon as we walked out I had. Two goofy boys come to my sides. I looked at them both before they shouted
"LACI RIDE WITH ME"
"NO SHE'S RIDING WITH ME, KILI"
"NO"
"YES"
"NO"
"YES!!!"
"BOYS STOP" A loud voice boomed towards us. Fili and Kili both stopped in there tracks and grinned from ear to ear. "She will ride with me end of story"
"She has a name you know" I said crossing my arms
"Sorry are you still drunk like you were last night or are you sober today" Thorin smirked
"Sorry I had fun last night instead of you" I sassed
Thorin walked to his pony and Dwalin appoced me. He gave a quick smile before picking me up and placing me on the pony behind Thorin. I huffed and crossed my arms once again, sitting in silence.
"You need to hang on you know" Thorin spat
"I could ride Thalia you know" I hissed "speaking of which where is she"
"Gandalf told us that she will stay back, and wait until we are back at the mountain for her to come. Says it will be safer for her in the long run" I sighed
'Great' I thought 'I'm stuck riding with this monkey, because my little girl can't come. I won't have anyone's to talk to let alone keep we warm at night. Then lastly when she'll get to the mountain we'll probably leave the next day' I added
"What was that" Thorin asked
"I know i didn't say that out loud" I quietly said
"Your right you said it in my head, for which I don't know how you do that"
"Oh that um I guess I left my thoughts unlocked to yours sorry" Thorin nodded and we went on. Leaving Beorn and Thalia behind.
Its been hours since we've stopped. Kili and Fili are picking on Thorin because I finally gave in and put my arms around him. Apparently he was smiling but I was to bored to look up at his face to see if he was. I made small talk with Dwalin, Balin and Bilbo but Thorin would get grumpy and tell us to be quite.
This time I was talking to Bilbo about my old life. Everything was good until Bilbo asked about a man I'm my life. If the was anyone besides Azog. I was silent for a bit.
"Yes" I sighed
"Well who is he" Bilbo asked
"Thranduil" I felt Thorin tense up at that name "It was a small thing, when I was he was a lot older than me but like any other relationship I was hurt."
"What did he do" Thorin asked coldy
"Nothing bad, I mean he cheated on me. Then got a lovely elf pregnant."
"Your not mad" Asked Bilbo
"No, I mean I loved him and I still do but I'm not mad at her. She didn't know he was with me. He was the one that was in the wrong, but Mr.Baggins what you need to learn is that is doesn't help to hold a grug. Its does more harm than foul."
"So you just forgave him" Thorin asked
"Yes, King it took time but yes. I realized I wasn't getting any younger you know, plus he was happy. So I was happy. We really didn't see each other a lot, I only saw him when he came and got me or when I left to the woodlands." He nodded "So Bilbo any special lady that you have"
"Sadly no, don't want to either. Only if I know them for the longest time, then I'll think about it" he laughed "I like riding solo" I giggled
"What about you Thorin" I asked
"Funny story lass, you should know that he does-" Dwalin started but Thorin pushed him off his horse
"THORIN " I shouted getting off to help Dwalin, but he shook me away
"Where here" Thorin yelled
I didn't pay to much attention to everyone, until I heard Gandalf shout.
"Not my horse" he yelled
"Gandalf your leaving " Bilbo and I both said
"You know that I wouldn't leave unless I had to" he replied
"Please, please don't leave me " I cried
"Bilbo will watch over you, you will be fine my dear. I must go" he said kicking his horse
"Come, we must be going" Bilbo said putting a hand in mine. I smiled down at Bilbo and squeezed his hand "Your very welcome, now come"
