{Book Two}

This book is a continuation of the first book. And it's after Rick disappears.

I pulled my knife out and made my way over to the other side. I know that's a stupid thing to do but it could be a walker and I figured I should kill it. Also to relieve some feelings. Once I was on the other side, I saw a walker and I walked over to it quietly, killing it. I heard another walker but before I was able to kill it, someone else did. I pulled my gun out and aimed. The person who killed the walker came into view and my eyes widened and filled with tears when I saw who it was.
Now onto chapter 33:
"Hi Maddie." He said, smiling at me. I ran up to him and hugged him tightly.
"I missed you Rick. We thought you were dead." I said.
"I missed you too Maddie. And it's understandable, you hadn't seen me for six years since I blew up the bridge." He said. "So, what's been going on since I disappeared?" He asked
"We dealt this group called the Whisperers. They took me two times. The first time they ambushed me. The second time I sacrificed my life for the two men that was protecting me. That group is gone. Negan is out of the cell but he's helping around Alexandria." I said. "And you have another son." I said, looking at him.
"I do?" He asked, smiling.
"Yes. I named him Rick Jr. He's a sweet boy and he's five about to turn six." I said. "He misses you even though he hasn't met you." I told him.
"I miss him too." He said.
"I'm surprised you recognized me Rick. You know with blonde hair." I said, chuckling.
"I'll recognize your face anywhere." He said, wrapping his arms around my waist. He leaned down and placed his lips against mine and kissed me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer to deepen the kiss. We soon pulled away and looked at each other. "Now, let's go back and surprise everyone with my appearance." He said.
We walked back to Alexandria holding hands and talking. We came up to the gate and it opened. We walked inside and everyone looked at us.
"Rick?" Michonne said, shocked.
"Dad!" Liam shouted, running to him with Judith following behind him. I saw RJ and he started running over. It took him a little bit to realize that it was his father.
"Daddy!" RJ shouted, when he got to him.
"Let me guess this is Rick Jr.?" Rick asked.
"Yes daddy. But everyone calls me RJ." He said.
After the family reunion, we started playing in the snow then the gate opened. I looked and saw Daryl and the others return. Daryl looked straight ahead and saw Rick.
"Rick, is that you?" Daryl asked.
"Yes it is." Rick said. They hugged each other which put a smile on my face. When they pulled away, Liam threw a snowball at Daryl and it hit him.

"You little stinker!" Daryl shouted, throwing one back.

There was a huge snowball fight between everyone until it started to get dark. Liam, Judith and RJ was in bed, leaving me and Rick alone in the living room. We were cuddling and he would kiss the top of my head.
"I'm really happy you're back Rick. I missed you every day since you disappeared." I said, looking at him. "And I forgot to tell you something." I said.
"What is it?" He asked.
"You have another adopted daughter." I said.
"I do? What's her name?" He asked.
"Her name's Lydia and she's 17." I told him. "Her mother was one of the people who tortured me and she was the leader of the Whisperers but Lydia joined us because she didn't like what her mother was doing. It took me awhile to trust her but I knew she needed a mother so I adopted her." I said.
"As long as she doesn't try to hurt anyone here. I have to meet her then since she's my daughter too." He said.
"I'll introduce you to her tomorrow." I said. "Something heartbreaking happened during the time we were fighting the whisperers." I said.
"What happened?" He asked.
"Paul, he's...dead." I said. "The whisperers killed him Rick. When Daryl told me, I never wanted to kill someone as much as I did before. But when they took me the second time, after they severely injured me by giving me a couple broken ribs, a big bruise on my side, a stab wound to the leg, internal bleeding and a severe head wound. Negan showed up with the leader. I thought he joined them but one day when he came back, I didn't see the leader anywhere. He had a couple of the whisperers untie me and take me to this clearing and I saw Daryl. I was scared of what was going to happen but Negan did something I didn't think he was going to do. He shot the whisperer beside me and killed them and the rest that was around us. He saved me and Daryl." I told him. "But when they got me back here, Siddiq had to do surgery to stop the internal bleeding. Daryl told me that after the surgery, I went into a coma for three weeks." I said.
"I'm sorry I wasn't around to help you Maddie, I wish I was." He said.
"It's alright Rick." I said. "But the thing is, Siddiq told me that if I took longer to wake up that I wouldn't have survived it. I'm happy I woke up but what got me through was thinking about everyone that I would end up leaving. I couldn't let them lose someone else they care about and that's when I opened my eyes and saw Daryl." I said.
"I'm glad you pulled through Maddie. You can get through anything because you always have." He said. "I love you Maddie." He said.
"I love you too Rick." I said, smiling. He placed his lips onto mine and kissed me. We then made our way to our room and changed to go to bed. We laid down and I cuddled up to him and fell asleep to his heartbeat. ___________________________________ I'm making up my own storyline for the rest of the story. And I brought Rick back as you read. I felt bad that he never met RJ so now he has. There will be more walkers in the rest of the story.
