No Looking Back {Book Two}

I woke up to a sleeping Rick and I quietly got out of bed so I don't wake him. But of course I failed because he woke up.

"Trying to sneak away somewhere?" He asked, looking at me.

"I was trying not to wake you up so you can sleep longer but that didn't work." I said.

"I sensed you getting up." He said.

"You got a sixth sense of something?" I asked, chuckling.

"Yeah. A sense that tells me you're getting up." He said.

"Of course you do Rick." I said, chuckling.

"But since we're both awake, want to do something before going downstairs?" He asked.

"My god Rick. I know I'm irresistible but keep it in your pants." I said.

"I'll try." He said, chuckling while getting out of bed. We got dressed and I went downstairs first and I saw the kids and Daryl in the kitchen.

"Morning." I said, smiling.

"Morning Maddie, how did you sleep?" Daryl asked.

"I slept great." I said, walking over and grabbed an apple. Rick then came downstairs in an outfit that looked good on him. Even though every outfit he wears looks good on him.

"Morning Daryl." Rick said, walking next to me.

"Morning Rick." Daryl said.

"Morning daddy!" RJ shouted. Rick went and picked RJ up and RJ wrapped his arms around his neck.

"Morning RJ." Rick said, smiling. I sat down on the stool before Rick spoke. "Maddie, what would you do if we had another baby?" He asked. I choked on my saliva since he caught me off guard.

"I'm getting a little sister or brother?" RJ asked.

"Look what you did Rick. You put me on the spot." I said.

"We kinda have to give him a little sibling now. You want to go try now?" Rick said.

"I didn't need to know that you want to do something with my little sister." Daryl said.

"What? We've done it before." Rick said.

"Oh really? I would never have guessed that, seeing you got my sister pregnant. Twice." Daryl said, sarcastically. I was trying so hard not to laugh at them bickering. "I thought she could get pregnant from just standing there." He said, still being sarcastic.

"You sarcastic son of a-" Rick began to say until I stopped him.

"Rick!" I shouted.

"Oops sorry." He said, making Daryl laugh.

"You got scolded by my sister." Daryl said, laughing.

"Shut up Daryl." I said.

"You did too." Rick said, laughing. I then glared at both of them, making them both stop laughing. I chuckled then walked outside.

"Hey Michonne, want to go out and look for things with me?" I asked, when I saw Michonne.

"Sure." She said, smiling. I went and grabbed my gun and knife after telling Rick and Daryl where I'm going. We went out the gate and went into town to search for supplies.

We came up to a little drug store and we were about to walk inside when we heard walkers inside the store.

"Guess we're not going in there with those walkers." I said.

"Obviously Maddie." Michonne said. I glared which made her laugh. We continued walking until we found a toy store and went inside. "Wait, why are we in the toy store?" She asked.

"Tomorrow is RJ's birthday so I wanted to see if I can find something for him here." I said.

"Oh okay." She said. We walked around the store and I saw a toy that I'm pretty sure RJ would like. I grabbed it and put it in the bag that was in my back. I heard a walker close by and I turned to see the walker getting closer. I took my knife out and stabbed it in the head then went to find Michonne and soon found her. We then went to another store to look for a few more things before heading back to Alexandria.
