Ash walked out of the pokemon Centre with Serena behind him, the weather was sunny with no fresh snow falling over night, the morning crisp with some fog hanging around, "you know, that was a great battle yesterday, I might have learned something from you yesterday," Serena stated while trying to cheer up Ash, she knew that Ash was struggling to come to grips with the fact that he might not be battling gym leaders for a while longer than he had hoped, "come on Ash, it isn't all that bad, have you ever tried to discover something new?" Serena questioned Ash with her left hand on Ash's right shoulder.

"Yesterday, you gave me confidence in the battle, but there is still this uncertainty, that I need to face, the question I need to figure out the answer for, what is left after the Kalos League? Will I find something new?" Ash asked the young woman standing next to him, he placed his hand over hers, holding Serena's hand and closing his eyes, 'too bad for Dawn, I have chosen who I want to be with, but I can also understand where she is coming from,' Ash thought to himself, as he looked towards the mountains.

"You know Ash, even though Dawn and I got off on the wrong footing yesterday, I can sense she isn't a bad person, but she is after my man, so of course there is going to be some disagreement," Serena assured Ash calmly.

"Yeah, I might start playing wingman for her," Ash joked while waiting for his other friend to come outside.

"Ash that is really nice of you," Serena replied to her boyfriend.

Ash then turned his attention to the gym and wondered what Serena was planning for her last gym battle, "you know, when I find out what I want to do, you will be the first to know," Ash promised Serena as he grasped Serena's hand.

"So how are you going to find out what you want to do?" Serena questioned her rival.

"I will find out, it might take some time, but when I do find out," Ash replied with a smile. "I want to figure this out on my own, I know that I will find something to do after this journey," Ash started to smile, his left hand balled up as he became more determined to search for something, "it might take me a while, but then again, it might not take me too long at all," Ash hoped for the latter.

Serena removed her hand from Ash's shoulder and crossed her arms to try and warm herself up, "I better be the first to know, I want to help you out as much as possible, like you helped me out," Serena turned away from Ash, she walked back into the medical facility and glanced over her shoulder, "you showed me the many different possibilities that a journey can have," Serena confessed her views to Ash

Serena walked pass the bluenette, the two shared a glance at one another, but chose not to exchange words, 'just what is it about her that gets on my nerves? It isn't just about Ash,' Serena thought to herself trying to figure out why Dawn irritates her so much, even if the two just met a little while ago.

'There is something about her that gets on my nerves,' Dawn thought to herself as the two women walked away from one another, "come on Piplup, we are going to do some training on our own," Dawn told her starter pokemon while trying to keep calm.

Ash sighed knowing that there was more to the situation than the two girls let on, "it isn't just about me, it is something else that those two don't like about one another, they had only just met and they can't even get along," Ash complained, he continued to watch as the two girls exchanged a glare, "they could almost be like sisters," Ash muttered under his breath.

Serena had her pokeballs out on the table thinking about what pokemon she wanted to use in the battle against Wulfric, "okay, so I can make this battle easy, by using Delphox and Blaziken, then I have my Pikachu and Lucario as well as Florges and Salamence," Serena looked at her pokeballs, trying to figure out her best combination, "out of all the pokemon I have now, Salamence, Blaziken and Delphox are my most powerful," Serena reminded herself.
