Ezra's alarm rung waking her. "Shut it off," Jace complained. She smirked down at him as he nestled onto her breast and sighed. "I have to go, baby. I have rehearsal all day." Jace groaned as he pulled her in closer. "Stay with me. We don't have to leave this room." Ezra rolled her eyes and chuckled. "You know we can't. I love you, but I got to go." She broke free and began getting ready. The weather was getting cooler so she pulled on some black skinny jeans and booties with a red sweater. She wore her locks down to assist in battling the cold. "I love you babe! Get dressed and out of my room before your parents make an appearance." She kissed his head and ran quickly as he made a moved to grab her again.

Ezra could tell she was walking a little funny as she entered the hall. None of her men were gentle lovers, but Jace was the roughest. They spent the majority of the early morning making up. "There she is," Marjorie called out pulling her from her happy thoughts. "Here I am." Ezra smiled as she walked into her embrace. "I am so excited to hear you sing." Marjorie felt Ezra would be the perfect little boost to take the event to the next level. They already had dance performers, as well as, a band and string quartet throughout the night, but she knew that Ezra's voice would be unlike anything the crowd had ever heard. "Good morning, little thing." Mason smiled down at her. "Ready to practice?" Marjorie shook her head no. "Breakfast first!" She led them to a decent spread of treats that had Ezra's mouth watering and stomach grumbling.

"Hungry," Mason laughed at her. "Shut it and eat." She shoved him playfully into his seat. "Are these mimosas?" Ezra asked with wide eyes after taking a sip of what she thought was orange juice. "I know you kids drink and I'd prefer if you did it around me than on your lonesome." Marjorie replied like it was nothing. "One glass won't kill you, little thing." Ezra rolled her eyes taking another sip. "Marjorie is this really going to take all day?" Marjorie looked at her confused. "Of course not, dear. You sing the few songs you've selected and then you're free to go." Ezra looked at Mason who looked sheepish. "Why did you say it was going to be an all-day thing?" He rubbed the back of his head. "I don't know. I was hoping maybe we could do something fun." Jace's words came back to her mind in that moment. "Sure, but I need to talk to you when we're done, okay?" He nodded happily.

They finished up breakfast and made it to the stage. "Now, Mason you've said you're going to sing three songs and then a duet with Ezra." Ezra looked at him shocked. "We're singing together?" Mason shrugged his shoulders. "We did so good the first time I figured we could do a repeat." Ezra thought on it and shrugged. "Same song?" Mason shook his head as he grabbed two microphones and handed her one. "I was thinking that song by Tori Kelly and Ed Sheeran." Ezra's eyes popped out. "You want to sing 'I Was Made for Loving You'...I don't think that's a good idea." Marjorie clapped widely. "I think that would be perfect. You two could end the night singing that." Ezra shook her head. "I really don't feel-" Mason grabbed her hand. "It's just a song, Ezra. I think it'll make these rich assholes warm up a bit to spending more cash on the charity this whole thing is for. I mean, look at how happy it's making my mom."

Ezra didn't like the guilt trip or the feeling of being pressured. "Fine, but that's it. No more duets." Mason smiled before nodding. "Ezra, you've also agreed to three songs." Ezra nodded and rattled them off. "Is there a reason you didn't want Celeste here?" Ezra smiled widely. "The last song is for her and Jansen. I didn't want to ruin the surprise." Marjorie nodded before taking a seat as Mason got into position. They spent all morning singing and getting comfortable with the stage. It was almost noon when they finished up. "You want to grab lunch and a movie?" Mason asked walking out of the hall with her. "Sure. Where to for lunch?" Mason informed her that there was a fancy Studio Movie Grill nearby that they could go to. "I'll be right behind you," Ezra said as she got into her car.

She really didn't believe Jace, but seeing Mason's face as he suggested their duet song had Ezra doubting herself. When Mason tried to buy her movie ticket, she put her foot down. "This isn't a date, Mason. We're just friends. I'm already in a relationship." Mason looked down at her as they took their seats. "I know it's not. I was just trying to be a good friend." He looked put out, but Ezra needed to make her points known. "I love Jace. I love Jackson. I love Jacob. They're who I want to be with and only them. I value our friendship, Mason, I really do, but if you can't respect the boundaries of what a true friendship entails then maybe we can't be friends anymore." His eyes were wide. "Ezra, I've done nothing to make you feel like I'm overstepping or disrespecting your relationship. I get it you want them not me. I'm fine with that." Ezra looked at him before nodding and turning to the screen.
