They were able to get good seats, but the stadium was packed. "This is going to be a good game. Hillside is just as good as we are," Lucy Jane informed. Ezra nodded as the boys ran out on to the field. She quickly spotted Jace, number 5. He looked amazing in uniform and Ezra got wild ideas of recreating a fantasy.

The game was a stressful one, but Clarkson was in the lead by a touchdown. Ezra had spotted both Jacob and Jackson in the stands with their friends. They both smiled and winked at her when their eyes met causing Lucy Jane to giggle. There were two minutes left on the clock and the score was tied. It was apparent Clarkson was going to go for a tricky play and Ezra, like most of the audience, waited on baited breath. Jace got the ball and acted like was going to throw it but last minute began running. Everyone was up and screaming. "Go Jace! Go!" Ezra called out as his long legs moved him. He dodged the opposing team left and right before diving to make the winning touchdown. "Oh my God!" Lucy Jane screamed as everyone cheered happily. "Tonight, is about to be epic!" Ezra didn't know why the words worried her, but judging by the high that all of her classmates were currently feeling, she had a bad feeling.

Ezra and Lucy Jane were back at her house in no time. She made sure the food was all set out and ready along with plates and cups for the various drinks in three large coolers the guys must have dropped off. The doorbell rang and Ezra yelped. "Breathe, love, it's going to be fun." Ezra opened the door relieved to see Sean, Zoe, Kathy and Henry. "I'm so glad it's you guys." They all smiled at her. "Sean always comes early to this thing." Zoe said walking in and towards the dining room. "I have to get the food while it's still presentable." Ezra laughed at him as she stepped aside and let them all in. "Alexa, play Party Playlist in the house group." Sean announced. Soon Drake could be heard throughout the house. "How did you know to do that?" Sean shrugged as he made a plate. "I'm kind of in charge of music at these things."

Ezra nodded before hearing the doorbell ring. She took a deep breath before answering it and was met with a mob of people. She took a step to the side as wave after wave of people stumbled in. She didn't even recognize half of them. "It'd be easier if you just leave the door unlocked," Henry said to her after she closed the door. "You're going to drive yourself crazy worrying about it every time the doorbell rings." She nodded her head before heading back to their friends. Zoe was laughing at something Sean said when they arrived. "You don't look like you're having fun, Easy-E." Ezra looked at Sean and smiled slightly. "I've never been to a party before. I'm too worried something bad is going to happen to relax I reckon." Sean shook his head before handing her something.

"Drink." Ezra took a sniff and only smelled pineapples. She took a big gulp and realized it was not pineapples. "What is this?" Ezra coughed up. "A relaxer now drink it." Ezra shook her head no before handing him back the cup. "Suit yourself. I guess attending this thing sober can be fun too." Ezra rolled her eyes before she saw a new wave of people walking in. Pierre would be happy to know his food was a hit. She also noticed the large trash cans that were placed in various points downstairs. Marisol was on it. She smiled as more people came through. At this point the house was almost at capacity and she still had yet to see the guys. "Come on let's take shots." Lucy Jane announced leading them all to the kitchen.

"No thanks," Ezra said shaking her head. "Just one." Sean tried to pressure. "Yeah, peer pressure doesn't work on me. I'm good." She laughed at his pout. She watched as they did shots and laughed on at them. 'WAP' by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion began playing and Ezra was sure Lucy Jane might have a heart attack. She grabbed Ezra and Zoe who grabbed Kathy and ran to the makeshift dancefloor in the middle of the expansive living room. As she danced with her girls, Ezra felt free. She felt happy. She finally had friends. Real friends that seemed to care about her and she them. As Lucy Jane got low and twerked on her she couldn't help but laugh. "She's a nut," Zoe said with a giggle as she danced with Kathy. "Yeah, but she's ours." Ezra smiled as she began dancing on Zoe.
