"Thank you for this." Ezra said smiling to her knight in shining armor. "I see a lady in distress I come to the rescue." Sean said with a smile. "I promise this ice cream parlor is going to make your day." She gave him a small smile, but it didn't reach her eyes. They parked and got out and Ezra smiled at the parlor Any Given Sundae. They took a seat in the back and gave their orders before Ezra exhaled. "What's wrong, Easy-E?" Ezra smiled at the nickname. "I feel like I can tell you anything, so I'm going to tell you a secret and I trust that you'll keep it safe." Sean nodded for her to continue. "I'm dating Jacob...and Jackson...and Jace." Sean kept looking at her. She waited for some sort of reaction but got none. "I know this already."
Ezra gawked at him. "How? No one knows." Sean shook his head. "The important people know bits and pieces. Charlotte knows that something is going on with you and Jace. Just like Owen knows something is going on between you and Jacob. I know you're dating all three because I'm a detective at heart." Ezra nodded slowly before sighing. "Charlotte said I was a fetish for Jace. That he'd get bored and go back to her." Sean shook his head as their orders were placed in front of them. "Charlotte St. Germain is one of the most insecure girls I have ever met. In her mind, you're the reason she's lost her golden ticket when in actuality she never had Jace to begin with. She's going to say and do whatever she feels necessary to try and break you down. Don't you dare let her."
"You're not a fetish, E. Jace really likes you. I can tell, because when you idiots think no one is watching I am." He laughed as she shook her head. "He looks at you in ways he's never looked at another girl before and that means something." Ezra nodded her head. "Mason Dixon kissed my cheek in front of everyone and Jacob and Jace saw. They were pissed." Sean sighed. "For someone so smart, Mason really is an idiot. It's obvious he likes you, but it's also obvious you're not interested in him like that." Ezra took a sip of her milkshake and sighed. "What happened to them that made them hate each other." Sean nervously played with his dreadlock. "I don't know if I should be the one to tell you this, E." Ezra scowled at him. "Kinship in the skinship!" He chuckled at her before nodding.
"There was a girl that was new to Clarkson our freshman year named Eliana. She was a beautiful little thing with the prettiest red hair. At this time, the Scott boys and Mason were still best friends. They had known each other since 6th grade. They all took a liking to Eliana and she began hanging with them." Ezra listened on intrigued that her dynamic with the guys may not have been a new one to them. "After a few months it was obvious that they all liked her as more than friends, but Eliana wasn't down for that. She didn't want to lose their friendship and after a while Jacob and Jackson were able to just be friends with her. The same could not be said for Jace and Mason. The two began to resent one another, blaming the other for her not choosing."
"Eliana didn't like what was happening and told them to respect her wishes and make up or else. Jace agreed, but told her he would always have feelings for her. Mason said the same in front of the group, but secretly he had no intention of letting her go. The Scott boys had a rager that year and everyone was pretty drunk. Towards the end of the night Mason kissed Eliana and Jace went into a rage. We all had to hold him back while Eliana slapped Mason. She was so angry that she left right then and there despite the guys telling her to stay." Ezra could relate to Eliana. It sucked not being respected or listened to. "It was raining pretty bad that night and honestly, I wish she would've stayed. Things would've been so different if she had." Ezra noticed the melancholy tone that Sean had taken.
"What happened, Sean?" He sighed as he brushed a dreadlock from his face. "Eliana was in an accident that night and died on the way to the hospital. The last time any of the boys saw her was at the party as she left frustrated and crying that her so-called friends couldn't get it together long enough to respect her wishes." Ezra was shocked. She was not expecting that ending. "That's heavy, Sean." He nodded as he finished his ice cream. "It is, but now you know why they hate each other. The brothers blamed Mason for making Eliana run out that night and honestly so did Mason. He was in a dark depression for a while. I don't think it helped that he lost all of his best friends that year."
"I don't want history to repeat itself." Ezra whispered. Sean grabbed her hand and smiled. "It won't, because you've already chosen your prince charmings. You just have to maybe share that with Mason so he can actually take a hint this go around." Ezra nodded before they heard the bell on the door ring. Ezra watched as Jace walked in. He looked down at his phone before looking up and around. When his eyes finally met hers, he visible sighed in relief before walking towards them. "Hey Sean," Jace said not taking his eyes off of Ezra. "Hey Jace. Well will you look at the time. Got to bounce!" Ezra held onto Sean's hand but he pulled himself loose. "See you tomorrow, Easy-E." He left a twenty-dollar bill on the table and moved so that Jace could take his seat.
"You scared me." Jace finally said when they were alone. "I had to get out of there." Ezra said not looking at him. He reached for her hand, but she moved it. "I don't know what Charlotte said to you, but I do know that none of it is true. Ezra you're the most important girl in my life and I want you to know that. My feelings for you are true and deep and nothing or no one is going to change that." Ezra sighed before looking into his ocean blue eyes. "She said I was a fetish to you. Something to cross off your list." Jace's eyes widened before narrowing in slits. "She's a fucking liar and a pest. I find everything about you beautiful and inspiring, Ezra. The fact that you're Black is just a bonus. You're not a phase to me or my brothers. You're the real deal."
Ezra couldn't help the tears that brimmed in her eyes. "I want to kiss you so badly." She whispered as she reached for his hand. "I know, Princess. I do too, but we can do that tonight." She blinked away her tears as she looked at him. "I wanted to do date night tomorrow, but I think we deserve it tonight. Let's go home and get changed." Ezra smiled widely. "Really?" He nodded with a chuckle before getting up. They walked side by side not holding hands, but allowing the backs of their hands to touch. As soon as they got in the darkly tinted Tesla all bets were off. Jace engulfed Ezra in a possessive embrace as their lips and tongues did the tango. "I needed this, Princess." Jace said against her lips before deepening their kiss.
Ezra reached for his jeans and unbuttoned them. Jace groaned as he felt her warm hand wrap around his member. Her strokes fell in line with her tongue and it was unraveling him. She pulled away and pecked his lips once before engulfing him in her mouth. "Fuck!" Jace cried before shivering and groaning. He always thought Charlotte was the best, but that was the biggest lie. He knew Ezra was damn good by the way she was turning him out, but also because of the way he felt about her. He meant what he said she was the real deal and he was going to show her tonight that there was no going back.
Ezra's tongue memorized every vein as she slurped and sucked him into ecstasy. "That's it, Princess. Just like that." Jace encouraged as he rested his head on the headrest. Ezra took him deeper, relaxing her throat and Jace thought he might die of happiness. "Princess, you're going to make me..." Before he could finish, he erupted in her mouth. Ezra swallowed everything he had to give her and smiled at the happy expression on his face. Jace shook from the aftershock of pleasure causing Ezra to giggle. He fixed himself and zipped up his pants before looking at her. "You're amazing, you know that." Ezra shrugged. "My boyfriend has told me that once or twice." He smiled at her before pulling her in for a kiss. "Come on let's go get ready for our date."
When they got home, they noticed that both Jacob and Jackson were not there. "You go get dressed. I'm going to let Pierre know we won't be home for dinner." Ezra nodded before skipping up the stairs with Barry Allen hot on her trail. "Hey Pierre," Jace said as he entered the kitchen. "Bonjour Monsieur Jace. How can I help you?" Jace filled him in that he and Ezra would be missing dinner tonight causing Pierre's interest to peak. He knew not to say anything, but wondered if something was going on between the eldest Scott brother and everyone's favorite foster. "Merci! I will let Marisol know." Jace nodded before heading upstairs to change.
