It was obvious to everyone present that she was nervous. "Ezra, why don't I show you to your room and then give you a tour of the house." Celeste smiled making her way towards her before they were interrupted by the Latin woman. "Mrs. Scott, it's Mrs. Dixon. She says it's urgent." Celeste couldn't help the scowl on her face. "It's fine, take your call." Ezra smiled at her. The blond woman pouted causing Ezra to smile. "Fine. Boys, come help Ezra up. I want you to show her around and make sure she's comfortable." Celeste grabbed the phone and schooled her tone before answering and walking off into another direction. "I have some work to do, but if you need anything let one of them know," Jansen said with a small smile before heading off.
"Come on," Jacob said heading towards her. "We'll show you to your room." Jackson grabbed her suitcase like it weighed nothing and didn't contain everything she'd ever owned. Jacob moved to talk her keyboard and she quickly stepped back. They all noticed her jerky movement. "It's fine. I got it." She shot him a smile that she hoped would mask her blunder. "I don't have time for this shit," Jace spoke up turning and disappearing upstairs. Ezra rolled her eyes and followed Jackson. Barry was quick on her heels. "Don't mind him. He's an asshole 24/7, so you'll be able to ignore it in no time." Ezra smiled at Jacob as they stepped into what she assumed was her room.
Ezra couldn't help but gasp. She set down her keyboard on the wall near the door before taking everything in. The light and dark grays with subtle pops of purple were beautiful. "How did you know?" Jackson looked at his brother confusedly. "How did we know what?" Jacob asked. "Purple. It's my favorite color." Jacob chuckled informing her that his mom was a master of detail. Jackson couldn't help but watch her flutter around like the happiest of bees. He loved that she took everything in with a level of appreciation that he didn't think he'd ever see. She saw things with such wonder and affection that he wanted to paint it. He wanted to paint her. He wanted to capture the look she currently had on film and enlarge it.
They watched her make her way into the closet before sharing a look. Jackson noticed everything including the groan his brothers both simultaneously let out when Ezra first walked into the house. There was something about the way her jeans hugged her hips and her fitted baseball tee highlighted her breasts that he knew would fit perfectly in his hands. Ezra was thick and it did a number on Jacob. He made sure to walk behind her as they made their way up the stairs to her room to get an eyeful of her plump derriere. The look the two shared was filled with a message. It had been a long time since the brothers spoke to one another without using words, but it was apparent that both brothers liked what they saw. Ezra smiled at them before heading to the bathroom and it caused them both to smile.
Jacob made a point to say something when they heard a scream. They looked at one another before Jace joined them from his room. They all ran towards the bathroom. "What is it? What's wrong?" Jace asked looking around worriedly. "THIS BATHROOM IS AMAZING!!!!" Ezra shrieked while jumping around happily. "Are you fucking kidding me?" Jace barked, but Jackson placed a hand on his shoulder. Ezra noticed the exchange and filed it away to learn more about later. "You don't understand! I love baths and this bathtub is a work of art!" Ezra chuckled as she climbed in the large tub, clothes and all, and stretched out. When Barry Allen jumped in to join her, she couldn't help but laugh heartily.
"Come on, we have the rest of the house to explore." Jacob chuckled helping her out of the tub. He tugged her out underestimating his strength and she fell into him. Her small hands were pressed on his chest as her wide brown eyes stared up at him. His strong arms held her up by the waist as his ocean blue eyes probed her. They felt like they were the only ones in the room, but they weren't. Barry Allen barked happily before brushing up against her leg, breaking the spell that was cast. "Let's go." Jacob smiled and Ezra thought she would melt like a stick of butter on a summer day. She followed Jacob out of the bathroom and room walking past an ever-brooding Jackson and a surly Jace.
"This is my room," Jacob said taking her to the room to the right of hers. She took in the black, grays and red and smiled. It was very masculine, but held a subtle femininity that she liked. There were books sprawled around, but upon closer inspection she noticed they were plays. "You're an actor." Ezra said with a smirk as she scoured the room's décor. There were various playbills hung around and props from famous plays littered throughout the room. "I dabble," Jacob responded coolly. "Please. You're a Drama King, quite literally." Jace said while leaning against the doorframe. Jacob shrugged before setting his eyes back on Ezra.
She was something to behold. Her dark skin shined in a way that would make the sun jealous. Her waist length dreadlocks were so feminine and powerful. Jacob just wanted to touch one. He wanted to touch her. He noticed that each of his brothers watched her like the gazelle that she was in the lions' den. "Who's next?" Ezra smiled happily after committing tidbits about Jacob to memory.
"Let's go across the hall." Jacob offered leading her to the room directly across from hers. "This is Jace's room." Ezra looked at the jock noticing the scowl on his face and rolled her eyes. It was similar to Jacob's in color scheme of black and grays, but where Jacob had red Jace had blue. It was predictable in design. The room was littered with sports accolades. Lacrosse sticks hung on the wall, while a football and basketball hung out in corners. The one thing that seemed out of place was the acoustic guitar leaning against the wall.
"May I?" Ezra asked Jace as she pointed at the guitar. He shrugged his shoulders noncommitting before Ezra walked over and picked it up. She began strumming a tune and smiled to herself as she walked further into the room and closet. She missed playing the guitar. Hers was stolen and then broken into hundreds of pieces by some foster girls in one of her placements. It was one of two things she had of her father and losing it wrecked her. She made sure Hannah kept her keyboard for her after that incident. She explored the bathroom and realized just how loaded the Scotts were. They each had their own room and bathroom with more space than was necessary. She had been in many placements and none of the houses were setup like this and they were decent sized.
"You two are idiots," Jace whispered to his brothers. Jacob and Jackson looked at him with annoyed expressions. "Don't think I haven't noticed how you look at her. She's our foster sister. Get your minds right and act accordingly." He scolded. "Are you warning us or yourself? She's a foster that's living with us. She's not our sister and I sure as hell don't plan on looking at her like one. I'll act however the fuck I want to act. You're the one sporting a half chub every time she so much as breathes, so fuck off." Jacob snapped. Jackson chuckled right as Ezra walked back into the bedroom. She placed the guitar back against the wall giving each guy a view of her ample bottom.
"That just leaves you, Bubba." Ezra smiled widely as she made her way towards Jackson. He raised an eyebrow liking the nickname and smirked. Ezra gathered Jackson was a man of few words until he got to know you, but she knew there was more to him. She wanted to crack his shell and get to know him. There was something about all of them even the annoying Jace that made her want to know more. Jackson's room was to the left of hers. The black, grays and greens seemed to fit him and Ezra couldn't help but smile at how this room calmed her. There were paintings everywhere. One wall held a mural of a thick forest with vibrant shades of green and black tree barks. Ezra was so enamored by the art around her she didn't hear the snaps.
She quickly turned her head and heard another snap as Jackson captured yet another picture of her. "You're an artist." She smiled up at him and he instantly forgot how to breathe. She was so pure and innocent. Jackson wanted to do everything in his power to corrupt the brightness all around her. "Did you paint all of these?" Jackson nodded holding his camera close to him. He was ready to capture the slightest expression she might give in hopes of paining it later. She walked over to a painting that screamed anger and angst. The harsh reds and use of black illustrated the kind of headspace Jackson was in when he painted it. "Do you like it?" Ezra looked up to see Jackson standing very close to her. It was the most he had said and she loved the way his velvet voice sounded.
"I like it a lot. It's dark and loud, but somehow hollow at the same time." Jackson watched her as she stared at the painting and took it all in. There were less than a handful of people that got his art and he was fine with that, but as she enjoyed his work, he realized he didn't care about anyone else's opinion as long as she liked it. Ezra placed her hands behind her back turning around to see them all. She couldn't know the position was pushing her chest forward causing them all to silently groan. "An actor, an athlete and an artist..." She smiled cheekily. "Sounds like the beginning of a very bad joke, sweetheart." Jacob smiled at her before holding his hand out. "Come on, we've got a lot more house to discover."
